About Me

I think I'm the most amazing woman you'll ever meet. Well my friends have been saying that for over 2 years now so why not add it here! I have a certifiable sense of humor, I'm a fantastic mom and I make a great living. I kicked him out when his mid life crisis kicked in and never looked back. My former life made me stronger....a better person, mother and friend.I only take long walks on the beach if my dog runs away or my child drifted while swimming and can't hear me calling to come back towards our things. Otherwise....I can lay in a chair w a good book for hours...dawn til dusk....I still love 80's music...but Pink Floyd puts me in a mellow happy place. Love bands like Maroon 5, Green Day...pretty much anything except what teenagers like nowadays...only because I have no idea what it means and just makes me feel old! ;). Some movie classics....STRIPES....Shawshank Redemption, Wedding Crashers, Starsky & Hutch, Animal House. I'm not a "typical Boca girl" as people refer.....NOT tooting my horn, just sayin. ALL my pics are current, so NO, I didnt shave my head and I wont suddenly weigh 300lbs. I can kinda deal with men who's profile shows shirtless pics, but honestly, would prefer those that dont. I'm pretty traditional in that I like to unwrap a package slowly vs already knowing what's inside.I work in the IT Industry and have held the same position for 17 years. I love what I do and I can see myself continuing this career path, but still searching for something more in life. I'm very big into animals, I love DOGS and have the utmost respect for those who rescue. One thing also important to me...CHRISTMAS TREES... ;-) If religion isnt an issue and you're cool, keeping Christmas...AWESOME I'm looking for a secure minded man who is NOT controlling and knows how to enjoy a life of his own as well. A successful career minded individual is a requirement for me now....the only toads I can deal with anymore are those nasty big gross things in my yard...and even those are marginally acceptable. Good luck in your search. For whatever reason....I've never been drawn to the idea of early morning coffee invites. Not being a serial dater...I don't have a laundry list of preferences in mind...but being pretty easy going in general i would love to think it's pretty simple like it was when we were 20 something!!!? ;). Ideally, grab a bottle of wine or a six pack...and going to sit somewhere like a dog park or just a park in general....that's pretty cool. I like your average sports bar...but love a wine bar or steak house just as much....I'm pretty open for suggestion and not too difficult to please. I'm in the best place of my life and I am sure of who I am. Any man I may meet at this stage of my life would be because I want to be around you....So by the time we decide to meet I'm sure anywhere will do ;)
