Hey There!I was on meetville earlier in the year but got really frustrated at all the fake profiles and /or those contacting me making plans but then canceling them all the time. I deleted my profile completely and tried some other avenues. Just thought I would come back to the site once more to see if there are any new guys out there that maybe are SERIOUS about using the site for which it was intended--> actually meeting someone......First off about me:I am a divorced single mom of 2 children. One just finished her first year at college and my second is a rising 8th graders. I work entirely too much....some of it is out of need, but some of it is to fill my time since I don't have anything else to do to fill my time as my kids are at the age they just don't really need me around as much. I am a Registered NurseI am currently on hiatus from working on my RN -BSN online, but will start back in the FallI am a movie fanaticI love music, it is a big part of my life and sanity--> I only really like Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, a pop song only here and there, but NO COUNTRY OR RAP, NADA NONE AT ALL**** JUST BECAUSE I LOVE MY ROCK MUSIC DOES NOT MEAN I DON'T LIVE A GOD FEARING LIFE! JUST BECAUSE I LISTEN TO HARD MUSIC DOESN'T MEAN I LIVE THE LIFESTYLE!!! I DON'T DRINK, DO DRUGS, OR PARTY, I JUST LOVE THE DRUMS AND THE FAST BEATS OF THE HARDER MUSIC AND IT REALLY IS A STRESS RELIEF TO ME TO LISTEN TO IT. ALSO, THE LYRICS ARE LIKE POETRY SOMETIMES, AND THERE ARE SOME VERY TALENTED SONGWRITERS IN THE GENRE. SO BEFORE YOU PASS ME BY B/C I LOVE HEAVY MUSIC, JUST REMEMBER THAT IT DOESN'T INTERFERE W/ MY BELIEF IN GOD AND MY MORALS AND VALUES**********We go to concerts right often, wish it was more often than it is, but hey, we live in NC, and not all the good rock bands come throughI made my mistakes in my previous marriage. Yes it takes two and both of us made mistakes and I fully own my part in it. But, I have learned from my mistakes and during the past 4 years alone (by choice) I have also learned exactly what i am looking for and what I am willing to compromise on and not compromise on. I really am a traditionalist when it comes to relationships. I believe the man should be the one who is in control and the woman is to be by his side, supporting him. I just ask that my opinions be sought out, listened to, respected, and considered in the big scheme of things. I am educated and book smart, not so much street smart, lolWhat I am looking for:First off, don't tell me you that you are looking for a relationship as the "bait", and when we talk or actually meet, switch it up and all the sudden you are looking for a FWB situation, b/c that is not what i am looking for on this site.I seem to attract the young guys or the men who are my parent's age. I know it's long.....suck it up and read it anyway....pretty please? :) ME......- girl next door with a bit of a wild side - sarcastic sense of humour- actually is 5' 5" and a 1/2....hey...that ***inch means a lot...I know you agree...lol ;p - not afraid to get dirty (mud between the toes feels cool)- loyal- romantic (holding hands and kissing rocks!***I mean that kissing is cool...not....I like to kiss rocks ;p- affectionate- will leave random love notes for you here and there- passionate ;)- summer person- prefer movies over regular TV- soooo NOT high maintenence or a princess (no need to open doors for me....well...unless you are walking in front of me....don't really enjoy a door in the face)- jeans-n-T-shirt and flip flops kinda girl but can rock a sexy black dress if need be- would give you my last rolo- likes trying different cuisines - enjoys watching some sports like hockey, UFC, football, wrestling (not a big baseball fan and watching golf is just plain torture to me ;)- love my job working with students that make formula cars, hybrid cars, rockets, dune buggies, snowmobiles, solar cars, robots etc- likes to tell stories....like this one time, at band camp.... ;p- drive stick (apparently this is impressive to some of you guys....not sure why)- adore my teenage daughter (the "ya, ya whatever" stage...not so much) Note to self......apologize to my Mother :)- very close to my parents, sister, brother-in-law and 2 nieces (I'm the "cool" Auntie)- have a small circle of friends that are great- good at communicating (ya think..;p...also a good listener)- young at heart (puddle jumping is a good thing)- likes muscle cars / shows- enjoys being near or on water- likes cookies- likes playing pool and darts (but not at the same time...although that could be interesting)- has been known to steal the small jam packets from restaurants (common...they're cute.....and great for camping ;)- hates wearing socks- likes the word "saucy" (as in defiant and not....."That's good saucy spaghetti"....)- prefers backyard BBQ's and patios but will tear up the dance floor on occasion (like 2x per year if that...don't like the bar scene)- loves concerts/live music...(especially outdoor venues)....been to many........are a few to mention anyway- enjoys "me" time (aka: independent)- loves to laugh....and make others pee their pants.....which in turn.....makes me laugh. (liquid out the nose can be pretty entertaining as well)Although I may come across as someone who is "all about fun", I do have a serious and sensitive side that comes out when need be. YOU.....- similar in some ways to me but with your own edge- must have a good sense of humour in order to understand mine- treat me the way you want someone to treat you.....you know how the saying goes....."Keep it simple Stupid" ;)- oh.....if you can cook more than just KD you get bonus points (although I really do enjoy KD every so often)THERE are some crazy people on meetville and THEY'RE very annoying with some of THEIR crazy messages they send.
