Hey There!I was on meetville earlier in the year but got really frustrated at all the fake profiles and /or those contacting me making plans but then canceling them all the time. I deleted my profile completely and tried some other avenues. Just thought I would come back to the site once more to see if there are any new guys out there that maybe are SERIOUS about using the site for which it was intended--> actually meeting someone......First off about me:I am a divorced single mom of 2 children. One just finished her first year at college and my second is a rising 8th graders. I work entirely too much....some of it is out of need, but some of it is to fill my time since I don't have anything else to do to fill my time as my kids are at the age they just don't really need me around as much. I am a Registered NurseI am currently on hiatus from working on my RN -BSN online, but will start back in the FallI am a movie fanaticI love music, it is a big part of my life and sanity--> I only really like Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, a pop song only here and there, but NO COUNTRY OR RAP, NADA NONE AT ALL**** JUST BECAUSE I LOVE MY ROCK MUSIC DOES NOT MEAN I DON'T LIVE A GOD FEARING LIFE! JUST BECAUSE I LISTEN TO HARD MUSIC DOESN'T MEAN I LIVE THE LIFESTYLE!!! I DON'T DRINK, DO DRUGS, OR PARTY, I JUST LOVE THE DRUMS AND THE FAST BEATS OF THE HARDER MUSIC AND IT REALLY IS A STRESS RELIEF TO ME TO LISTEN TO IT. ALSO, THE LYRICS ARE LIKE POETRY SOMETIMES, AND THERE ARE SOME VERY TALENTED SONGWRITERS IN THE GENRE. SO BEFORE YOU PASS ME BY B/C I LOVE HEAVY MUSIC, JUST REMEMBER THAT IT DOESN'T INTERFERE W/ MY BELIEF IN GOD AND MY MORALS AND VALUES**********We go to concerts right often, wish it was more often than it is, but hey, we live in NC, and not all the good rock bands come throughI made my mistakes in my previous marriage. Yes it takes two and both of us made mistakes and I fully own my part in it. But, I have learned from my mistakes and during the past 4 years alone (by choice) I have also learned exactly what i am looking for and what I am willing to compromise on and not compromise on. I really am a traditionalist when it comes to relationships. I believe the man should be the one who is in control and the woman is to be by his side, supporting him. I just ask that my opinions be sought out, listened to, respected, and considered in the big scheme of things. I am educated and book smart, not so much street smart, lolWhat I am looking for:First off, don't tell me you that you are looking for a relationship as the "bait", and when we talk or actually meet, switch it up and all the sudden you are looking for a FWB situation, b/c that is not what i am looking for on this site.I seem to attract the young guys or the men who are my parent's age.     am independent, funny and sarcasatic and generally pretty fun to be around. Not sure that I am ready or interested in jumping into a serious relationship, but looking for someone to spend some time with and get to know. (I think this may have scared some off, I wrote this a few months back, and not sure that I still feel the same way) Who I am, I play soccer three nights a week, enjoy going out and listening to live music, love my job and have made sure that I always have. If you do not like the place you have to spend 40 hours a week, you should probably be looking elsewhere. I am loyal and dedicated, to my employment and my relationships I have a great group of friends and family. I am competitive and like to watch and play pretty much all sports and generally can at hold my own, except I can't ice skate and I have never tried to ski. You will not find me at the gym, I like to play sports and be physically active but the gym is not my thing and I don't like to run (unless it is after a soccer ball or while being chased). I like and understand pretty much all sports and enjoying being a spectator as well. I am not a fanatic, but like live sporting events (Wave, Brewers, Badgers, Packers). What I am looking for hmmm. I don't have some lengthy checklist and I am pretty open but there are a couple things that would not make us very compatible. If you are super religious and would ever expect me to go to church with you (unless it is for someone's wedding or funeral) or ultra conservative, I would not be a good match. I am not against someone who hunts, fishes or snowmobiles, but if these are your main interests, you should probably skip over me. I don't have any biological kids, but I do have a 16 year old step daughter, who I will maintain a relationship with. I am not against dating some one with children, but really don't know that I want that maternal type role again. So it would probably be best if your children are older, out of the home or you have a good relationship with their mother and not looking for a replacement. I am pretty laid back. I understand I can't control, what I can't control, but I believe I am responsible for my life and looking to make sure that I am ok and my decisions are well planned out. I like my space neat and orderly but am not over the top. I love to travel and try to make it to the Caribbean twice a year, have done a couple crewed charters and love the BVI (not really in to all inclusives). I would love to travel more and am really interested in SE Asia or Australia as my next big trip.
