About Me

Nothing worth having is easy to obtain. Take me, for example.In short, I enjoy the outdoors, the arts, and great conversation. I like a little adventure & to travel when I can. Family, extended family, & friends bring me happiness, and I care deeply about them. As well, I'm loyal to anyone I care about.I enjoy (in no particular order & many I rarely do, however, would like to more more often): Dancing (club/ballroom), dining, going to shows, theme parks, natural parks, hiking, photography, enhancing photos, good comedy (I truly enjoy laughing my butt off at a show or in a Comedy club), science, traveling (via plane when possible), boating, visiting historic sites, musicals, graphic design, engaging my creative side when inspiration strikes, becoming proficient w/ various software’-lining, horseback riding, skiing, and more. In general, I'm hoping to expand my horizon with someone open to doing the same! Do you have a suggestion, other than “hangin' out” & watching a movie?I'm a fun, sweet person & try to get along with everyone. I enjoy learning new skills, and activities. I would like to find someone that can carry on a good conversation, and can make me laugh. I would describe myself as outgoing, confident, loyal, open, loving, sensitive, charming, fun, caring, playful, honest (sometimes to honest), opinionated, and passionate. I love to laugh and smile often. I’m looking for an intelligent, fit, fun gentleman who is positive, energetic, and willing to treat a woman like a lady and great respect, and must be able to except me with all my perfections & imperfections.I'm looking for a man that: knows what he wants out of life, has confidence, and can keep me interested (fun, humorous, outdoors type, open to trying new things, etc). However, if something more develops, I'm open to that. Please don't write stating I'm waiting for "the impossible." Cause I've met good men w/ all, or most, of these qualities. So, I know they exist. Sometimes one has to keeping sifting through tons of dirt to find what one is seeking. When it comes to matters of the heart - it's worth the sift. I wish us both luck in making a new friend, or finding a partner. A nice casual meet & greet can work. Let's mutually determine if were meant to be friends, more than friends, or neither. Either way, it's all good.

    I can be a 'girly girl' (but more of a tank top/jeans kinda girl) who gets manicures and pedicures, but I don't freak out if I break a nail....my wardrobe ranges from black tie attire to t-shirts and baseball hats....... I am the sweet/innocent type your family would love, but who also has that fun and wild side...Although I said I NEVER would.....I drive a mini van. There are times I need to be more functional than fashionable. It takes my kids and their friends wherever they want, it's perfect for my dogs, AND it fits sheetrock and more :)I put potato chips on my burgers.I somehow manage to always lose the cap to the toothpaste, unless it's attachedI'm sarcastic...not in a mean spirited way thoughYou MUST love animals. I have 2 dogs. Not little 'foo-foo' dogs either. They are my lovable beasts (over 80lbs each).I have this thing about teeth. They don't have to be pearly white or perfectly straight. But, if you're missing some, or some are badly discolored or anything alike, sorry....it's a huge turn off for me.I'm addicted to chapstick..I'm an amazing listenerYep, I eat frosting right out of the container. Chocolate only.I always say 'thank you' when someone holds a door open for me, and I will hold a door open for anyone.I enjoy getting dirty while working in the yard, a project on the house, or with my dogs and kids. I manage to clean up pretty well :)I only go to the mall if I HAVE to...That's all for now :) something simple.....something where we can talk and get to know each other

    I bought a house recently, and I'm enjoying the decorating and all the things that go into making it feel like home (which is very time consuming!). So that is one fulfilled goal/aspiration.
