About Me

The poem quoted below speaks profoundly to me, and for me. I can say this, now, at this point in my life, only because it has taken me quite a while to get here. I do not regret one minute, the men, the years, or the decisions (good or bad) that have gotten me here—now. They were all steps along the way which have not only enabled me to understand the depth of this poem, but have created the ability for me to implement its meaning into my daily life. It represents how I try to live my life in every moment (when I can remember to do so).“To know that I am no-thing, that is wisdom. To know that I am everything, that is love. And between these two, my life moves.”el bistamiBut, seriously, I am not this serious. Just a deeper aspect of myself. I live to laugh. Love to laugh.I am open, self deprecating, and live with integrityI need to laugh at myself daily. And to create all sorts of movement in my life....I try to accept all that life has to offer on a daily basiswith courage, compassion, and kindness as best I can. However, I do miss the world terribly. Working diligently (and at times distractedly) on recreating a new life at home for myself. Taking the time to figure it all out while continuing to work with children in one capacity or another.I sometimes contradict myself because it ultimately expose oneself to finding your true inner desire by facing your own contradictions you didn't know you held? But I do have solid integrity and am grounded for the most part.I am physically active and love to hike, bike, walk, roller-blade, and play a lot of soccer when I am fit. When I am working on getting fit (again) I do all the same stuff daily-- just a lot less vigorously. I also do yoga and pilates regularly because I love how they feel. I need to move daily in one form or another, without it I would go mad. But, I am no longer a fanatic. My life is constantly changing, as it should. I try to remain open everyday to what life brings and work to take action to bring what I want into my life.Looking for love and a LTR if I can ever find that right mix of a guy at the perfect time?? It has proven elusive for far too long.I am spiritual and practice kindness to self and others daily.... Coffee, drinks, a walk, or dinner...or any combination thereof.

I am looking for a kind, strong & confident man who has a good heart, is caring, spiritual, friendly & loves to laugh.! :) I also love to hang out w friends, play cards, bbq and watch movies. Someone who is easy going, enjoys great conversation and doesn't have his mind set on one thing only. A gentleman who is thoughtful enough to open a car door for his date. (...yes I am capable of opening my own door but chivalry ranks high on the impression charts! :) I have a huge heart, am a good listener and also very playful. Someone who shares my same faith would be a plus. Are you the quiet witty type or friendly & outgoing? Either one is fine but the important thing is laughter & communication! I believe in trying to have a gut wrenching laugh every day...does wonders for the mood. And last, but most important (for the sake of both parties), it needs to start off as friendship to see if things click. I've been in some interesting situations on here where the other person was ready to get serious right after meeting. It's not a race :) So many times there are those awkward silent moments when you first meet someone bc the pressure is on to sit and chat about the general things you have in common from your profiles. So I say, let's skip the first awkward meeting and do something casual & fun ***! Yes, I realize those might be a little extreme to arrange for a first date, so darts, pool, putt putt, trivia at BWW etc. would work too. ;)

I'm pretty laid back. Family and friends are important to me. I enjoy a variety of things, especially if it's outside. I try to work out ***times a week. Looking for some one with similar interests. A current pic is always helpful....as it is nice to know who I'm talking to. I believe a good first date could be dining out or coffee for conversation to get to know each other better. Or something fun like bowling where we can interact and talk and have some fun all at the same time.

Hi Guys,I am looking for a way to meet a true, honest guy out here who wants to enjoy my company, along with getting to know one another at the same time with some good conversation...Its just that simple nothing more than seeing where things might go but not too fast..I am a firm believer in patience can be a virtue so rushing things are not always the best...Its good to go a little slower to get an appetite before you can enjoy the main course....The first time impression is when you know if there is a connection or not...Maybe a little old school and simple yet it can be very rewarding when you do find that someone who really fits well together with you... : )If you are that passionate guy who wants the same things in life as I do in being "Happy and Secure" with having a partner, best friend, lover, and wants to build a foundation together then here's a good woman right here...
