About Me Ok Well here it goes!!!!! Guess I will start with what I am looking for in a girl, because you already know yourself and if you think we will or will not match then that’s probably a pretty good place to start. I think the most important thing to me in a relationship is the ability to have fun!! If you can’t laugh at yourself and enjoy each other’s company then what is the point. I am looking for a girl that doesn’t need to be a lady 100% of the time and won’t complain if we are out camping, it ‘s pouring with rain and we are freezing to the bone!! Loyalty is a huge thing to me and can’t stand when people are not truthful and honest with the people they care about. Why would you not care about those who care about you? You must like to keep active and if you don’t mind swinging a hammer and helping out around the house that is a huge huge plus! Ok well now a little about me, or at least I guess what I think about myself everyone is a little self delusional and this is a profile on a dating site. I love spending my time in the outdoors, admittedly life gets busy and I don’t get to do this as much as I would like but maybe you could change that? I just recently started fishing again, it was something I did as a kid and really wanted to get back into it so I just bought a new rod and have started going again!!! Maybe you already know how and can teach me!! I have played hockey for years and don’t see it stopping anytime soon I love it, watching it however is a bit different of a story I don’t really like watching sports on TV lol is that weird? I have a sarcastic sense of humor and like being able to make fun of the people I am with, all in fun of course. Unless you are stupid in that case I mean it :P.’t talk to me :P. A couple of fun facts about me** I traveled for eight months when I was 20, I visited Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Nepal and Hong Kong* and definitely want to go back* I spent 4 months living in a 14’ travel trailer with my brother building a house in Sechelt “seemed like a good idea” * I once tried out for the TV show Canadas next handyman i failed miserably * I have worked full time as a firefighter for the past 2 years and Love every minute of it ?* I love having camp fires in my back yard but am surprisingly bad at starting them:PAnyway thanks for reading and good luck:)

Heya. I've never really fancied the whole internet dating thing, or hitting on girls at 'the club' (or anywhere else for that matter), so Im not quite sure how to go about all this, but just out of a long ***year) relationship (was married, still a little healing left to do), and very much looking to connect with someone again. I had difficulty deciding on a personality type as many of the ones listed apply to me, and I tend to exhibit contradictory personality traits...I am a nerd and love science (and sci-fi), but also enjoy playing sports (and watching hockey and soccer). I have a deep appreciation and love of art, and yet do bookkeeping for a day job. I have a passion for music (of nearly every kind); love playing drums/percussion, guitar, and producing various genres of electronic music as well, but could be just as content listening to university physics lectures, or going to a rave. I have a large network of friends and a huge family - both groups of which are very important to me. One of my best friends is my cat (dont worry, I have lots of human friends too, I just like my cat more than most people) who is very dear to me...he has a god complex, but happens to be very nice. I work ***and am trying to find a way to go part time and transition to freelance artist/other employable skills...until then I am CFO for a pretty cool company. My music tastes are deeeeeeep, diverse, and particular...the two most important traits to my taste in music are production quality and soul. My relationship expectations are pretty few, most importantly just to be treated with respect. Definitely a bit gun-shy of big commitments at present, so just looking to hang out, laugh, connect with and get to know someone new. Something fun where we can get to know each other a bit, that isnt cliche. Unless its bowling, because although it may be cliche, its still fun.
