Ok, me, where to begin. I'm a civil engineer with an emphasis on geotech engineer, or in layman, I like to play in the dirt. Unfortunately this means I spend a lot of time out of town on projects. Over the last couple years, I've spent nearly a year living out of hotels, fun times everyday, please note this last bit was sarcasm.As far as hobbies go, I enjoy martial arts and I've got a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Again due to my job, I've had to stop taking classes but once I get a more stable work schedule set up I intend to go back to them. Languages are also an interest of mine. I intend to learn at least one other language. Part of this interest goes back to when I was younger and had a speech impediment and had trouble speaking english.Small animals are one of my weaknesses. At one point I had three cats when I initially only wanted one but couldn't say no when people offered me another kitten. I've also got a black pug who I miss since he's living at my parent's house until I get home from the project I'm on.Finally, while I do list myself as a smoker, I smoke cigars, so I'm not chain smoking three or four packs a day, but occasionally I do like to have a cigar.Well I think thats about all for now.Oh one last thing, something that just bugs the HELL out of me. I find it disrespectful if I message someone and they *** without giving my profile a glance. Its not that hard to simply send a reply saying not interested.

I spent some time in the military, got to travel the world and loved it, which is pretty much how I wound up here. I am no longer military, btw.I am a big sports guy, especially Hockey (If you're a Red Wings fan, let's talk) It is quite common for me to spend a lot of my free time either working out, or playing sports, what I'm playing usually depends on the time of year. Cars, travel, and music are also big to me, which pretty much all fit together. I usually take a few road trips a year with the guys, it's fun with everyone getting their cars out and enjoying the drive. And well, we'll just say that the time I spent living in Europe influenced my current tastes in music and cars.And yeah, I am a little bit of a nerd at heart. I am always looking for new gadgets and fixing other peoples. So, to sum it all up, I may be a little rough around the edges, but I've got my life together.
