About Me

Thanks for stopping by my page! Please feel free to enjoy a few details:In effort to summarize: animals, Seinfeld (and comedies with like-minded humor), music, travel, and the great outdoors. Sense of humor, grounded, pragmatic and logical to a fault. Open-minded, intellectual, outgoing, silly, pleasant, honest, genuine, considerate, and no-nonsense, straightforward approach with low tolerance for shirking responsibility or being disrespectful. Those are all interests/qualities that I do my best to possess and value in others. If I have captured your attention at all, please feel free to continue. Some interests/passions:I love animals. I’m not a vegetarian, and I'm not radical by any means, but I am very compassionate and concerned about issues of animal cruelty, and think it's important to stand up for its victims who have no voice of their own. I enjoy being outdoors and staying physically active, and keep an overall healthy lifestyle, but I am not a complete workout-aholic. As far as drinking goes, I drink now and then, but if I go six months without a drink, for example, I won’t even notice. If I do drink then I do, but it’s just not that important to me on the regular, and I honestly prefer a good night’s sleep over a hangover anyway.I love music. As a listener, I am definitely a country fun, but I like a lot of other genres too; it just seems that THAT’S the defining one for a lot of people. Otherwise, on a different “note” (ha!) of the musical section here, I enjoy music theory and often try my hand at composing/songwriting. I’ve played the piano my whole life and although I am much rustier now than when I was 14, I still consider myself a musician and work to keep my knowledge of music, from a technical/musician’s standpoint, in practice. I LOVE to sing, though I could use some improvement, and adore a capella harmony, and choral performances. I enjoy musicals, and pageantry of all sorts. (I am a failed aspiring actor who’s worked very hard to abandon that dream due to a hatred of traffic and LA, and a frustration with the inherent nature of show business, but I still enjoy seeing shows and performing if the opportunity should arise). I appreciate when people have a good command of the language, and know the difference between “there, their, and they’re.” I love intelligent discussion. Open lines of communication are very important to me, and texting that goes on for hours and hours is just not going to work for me. Texting is great for quick little things, but if we’re really discussing something, (or if it’s out first chat after messaging on POF), texting is not appropriate. You can’t get to know a person by reading your interpretation of their words on a screen. Also, I love it when people are themselves. I find it really annoying when people constantly congratulate themselves publicly on *** out, going to the gym, or eating healthily. Or when they post every two seconds about every silly little "clever" thought in their head. Other:At this point in my life, I am a little uncertain of where I’m going. I graduated from college early, and was always in a big rush to do everything, when I discovered that I wasn’t quite satisfied with the path I chose back then. So, I’m in a position now where I may make some changes, as far as career and where I live are concerned. I've always wanted "more" out of life, whatever that means, so I'm figuring that out. With that said, I’m hard-working and responsible, and value the same in a partner, but am just redirecting myself a bit.I like to laugh. Conclusion:I know that was quite a read and if you made it this far, well, I admire your perserverance! If I have intrigued you at all and if you feel like we might have a thing or two in common, please feel free to say hello. Thanks, and I’ll talk to ya then! For a first date, I like to be in a setting where we are able to get to know each other. Any activity that two people can do together that provides an opportunity for good conversation works for me. And as a note, also referenced in the section above: please do not engage in a series of texts in lieu of the initial phone call. No need to text prior to the call to ask if you can call either. Just call. If I don't answer, you can leave a voicemail and I'll call you back. You can't get to know a person and find out if you "click" by reading your interpretation of their words on a screen. Text is great for quick little things, but it's not a substitute for full conversation.

Most of my friends that I hang with already have significant others and I am not really the type of person to go someplace by myself. I work full time in health care and afterwards I spend some time with my two horses. I would love to make some time for someone special. You should be aware that I am hard-of-hearing but I wear hearing aids which nearly corrects that problem. It is pretty much the same as someone wearing glasses for vision problems right? I would much rather talk in person than ramble on and on here. Drop me a line if you like what you see!

I am looking for someone with mutual interests who is kind, fun, caring, loyal, enjoys life, people, food, wine, art, music, etc. I am a bit of a kid at heart but I also enjoy the liberties of being an adult and experiencing new things. I have always seen myself with an adventurous type of person, but I guess I just want to find love. I am ready to open myself up and be vulnerable, maybe even get my heart broken in the process, but to me it's worth the trouble to find that special person. I've been told I am a nice person many many times, and that I have a weird sense of humor. I sometimes do strange things just to shock people, I am a bit of a jack of all trades as well. I appreciate unique and different ideas. However, what I am finding is the date could be awesome but if it's not the right person it doesn't matter anyway. How about just be you...I'll be me... do something mutually interesting.. and the awesome dates come later... and yes I have ideas. :)

Well one of my main goals is right now i work in fashion sales and in the future i am planning to go back to school where i can get my associates and bachelores in healthcare where i can be a medical receptionist..And i'm hoping once i'm a medical receptionist i would be able to afford a house for me and my daughter i definitely have alot of goals for me and my daughter in the future.. I think what definitely makes me unique is i have a warm spirit and a very kind heart and that i am a pretty open person..and one of the good things about working in sales my shyness seems to fade and i am more outgoing than i have in the past and i can trully be myself..that there are alot of different aspects to my personality that you might not see upfront that it is more skin deep once you get to know me and is definitely worth getting to know..i am definitely more classy and true, i'm upfront and honest. i have a variety of taste in music my top favorites are 80's metal..urban pop..dance/electronic..hip hop..alternative rock.. Well a date that i would find romantic is going to a romantic restaurant..then having a nice romantic walk along the beach watching the stars and just getting to know one another and then taking the evening from there..its always fun to be spontaneous lol :)
