Hello- I have multiple friends that have met really good people through this website. I thought I'd check it out and see for myself. It's always good to meet new people. I don't seem to get out as much as I used to.. I must be starting to get boring in my old age, Lol. Seems like it's a good time to spice it up a little bit! I am 30 yrs old with no children, it's just me and my puppy. (Who I love as if he were my child.) I haven't been in a serious relationship for about a year. I needed to take a break. I haven't been single for any substantial amount of time since I was around 14. I've experienced great relationships and some awful relationships but haven't been able to focus on my needs or do much to better my situation or for myself for quiet some time. I refuse to deal with any BS.. Life is just too short. I'm not going to change or be controlled and I can assure you that I will not try to change or control you. I don't need to meet any crazies or stalkers. I want to find a good down to earth person that I enjoy spending time with and who I can be myself around. Somebody that has the same outlook on things as I do, who is motivated, ambitious and confident. Someone that doesn't want to play games or waste each others time. Somebody that is honest, respectable but most importantly someone you can count on and TRUST to keep it real! Can't stand liars and I won't judge you.. So feel free to be yourself around me. There's no need to try to impress me or to present yourself as someone your not. I can appreciate and see the good in almost everyone. Don't know still if that is a good quality or a curse lol but it is what it is. Just be up front and say it like it is. What you are hoping to accomplish- what it is you are looking for and we can go from there. Looking forward to getting to know you.. :) I prefer to keep it simple and to be comfortable when meeting new people. I think the best thing you could do for me on a first date would be to SURPRISE ME! I want the first date to completely up to you. It will show me about the kind of person you are and what you like to do. What is your idea of a perfect date? What kind of food you like or what activities do you enjoy doing? I would rather get an idea if we are compatible at all by seeing if we have similar interests... or if don't if we can we still manage to have a good time. I am not hard to please and enjoy doing almost everything, so don't worry about me. This is your first date too! Let's do what you want!! If we make it to a 2nd date, then it will be my turn. I will show you what my ideal first date would be.. By then I think we will both have a good enough idea to know if it is something we want to continue to pursue or not.. No hard feelings!

First off I am a HUGE Basketball fan!!
