In an effort to not sound pretentious while talking about myself, this sentence exists. I spend a decent amount of time at concerts. There is almost nothing better than being in the middle of a pit, screaming along to your favorite band with a bunch of strangers doing the same thing. My favorite band, coincidentally the best band of all time, is Brand New. I also travel, run, read (a bit of a nerd), and obsessively follow awards season, which is currently right around the corner. I love TV: House, the X-Files, It's Always Sunny, Homeland, Curb Your Enthusiasm, DeGrassi (yeah, I said it), and the original ***. Forest Gump, The Lost Boys, Scream, Real Genius, Gladiator, The Matrix, Sarbina, The Departed, Jurassic Park for life. Oh, I love books too: anything F. I work as a social policy researcher with a special focus on K***education. Here's where the nerd in me takes flight. I am a statistical programmer. I crunch data and write analysis programs for the projects I work on. That is literally 90% of my work day everyday, and I love it. I may apply to Ph.D. programs in a year, but I enjoy where I am right now and am yet still undecided. Too many bars, so little time. If your with someone who is easy to talk with and generally enjoyable, it doesn't matter what you're doing. No strip clubs, but largely because most of them are seedy and generally questionable.

.... ;).....will read this travel log. For those who are actually reading this, I am.....I am...well I don't know exactly how to define myself. I will put it plainly. I am a mix of everything. I am random. I am not a pure girly girl, tom boy, or nerd. I am everything. I love to play games but I also love the arts for I am an art geek. That said, I love sports. If you want to know more about that feel free to ask. I am not afraid to get in an intense discussion about anything. I may not be an expert but I will give my two cents worth. I find that really challenges the mind. I love swimming. When I get into the water, I just find swimming so soothing and freeing. I love boating, water tubing, drawing and painting. I also don't mind traveling and seeing what the world has to offer. Sigh. Someday Meg....someday. There is more just ask.As for my goals and aspirations, I want to work in an art gallery or museum. MY dream is to be able to touch people's lives and I feel that through art I can do that. I want to be able to enrich their lives even more even if I have to do it one day at a time. As for how to describe myself. I try to have a bubbly personality. If I can make a difference in one person's life than I am content. I don't mind dressing up for the one I am with, but I am at heart a jeans and t-shirt woman. That said, I do try to take care of myself health wise. When I can I do go jogging and I have found that jogging is quiet liberating. Feel free to disagree. I say that I am quiet loyal. When I am with a person they have my attention. I also know that the man needs "guy time" here and there. I get it because I am like that as well. At the same time, he doesn't need to say I love you every single second. There is more but I don't want you to fall asleep in boredom.To end this, I can be silly but serious at the same time. I am a fairly good listener. There is more to me but we can actually talk about it *** me listing it out. So sum it up, I am everything and can't be put in one category. I am random. I don't expect perfection for I am not perfect myself. Almost anything. I just want to be able to get to know the individual.
