Hello there and thanks for checking my page out! I am a 27 y/o single mother to a 4 y/o little boy who is my world. I do not want to discourage anyone but my son will always come first. I do not have free weekends without my son as I have him ***. If you love kids that is a plus and I do not mind if you have a/or kid(s). If you do have a/or kid(s) please no baby momma drama. I do not have baby daddy drama at all. I have been in the U.S. Army (Active Duty) for just a little over five years now. My first 4.***. Seeing all the new AIT Students (Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines) makes me remember all my Basic and AIT days….good memories if I have to say so myself. I do not get out of the Army until early ***and still not sure whether I am going to get out or not after eight years in. Everyone seems to think that I am going to make the Army a career because I take so much pride in what I do plus I am good at my job. I really miss working in the medical field but at the same time I enjoyed deploying (although it was scary). Enough about all that Army talk for now.I am shy when I first someone but I am trying to work on that. My friends say that I am fun to be around but since being back in VA I haven’t really been hanging out with a lot of old/new friends. I like to stay in and watch movies (whether Redbox or Netflix), cook, go bowling, taking the kid to the beach and/or pool, etc. I listen mostly to hip-hop and R & I am a very independent woman as I do not need a man to take care of me and/or my son as I can do that on my own. I do like the companionship though. I just miss having that one that you connect with and love. I like to cuddle but the relationship does not have to always be touchy-feely but rather have those little moments and cherish them. I have to be happy in my life too! I am looking for someone that can make me laugh, let me be me and not what you want me to be, someone that knows how to have fun, etc. I like guys that are typically tall, but not a must (requirement except please be as tall as me or a little taller). I would like a guy that is physically fit (my preference) as I have to be in the Army so therefore I am HWP. I want someone who is definitely not jealous and who can get along with my friends as you would want me to get along with your friends. Please, if you cheat, lie, abuse, try to control or anything in that nature I do not need you nor want you in my life.     So here we go, I will start with the fact that I am a registered nurse. I grew up always knowing that I eventually wanted a career where I spent my time helping people......well....I have finally accomplished that and I absolutely love what I do! When I'm not at work I spend a lot of my time playing sports such as soccer and volleyball. With the job that I have I am reminded everyday that everything can change in a second, and as cliché as It sounds, we only have one life, why not spend it with the people we care about and do the things we love. On a first date I usually prefer something pretty casual. Whether it may be a rollerblade through the park, a casual pint at a pub, etc. Let's face it, first dates are always nerve racking, so why not get to know each other while doing something fun and where you feel a little more at ease.
