-old son. It's been quite a change for both of us but we both like it. However, moving so far from everyone I know and all of my family has left me without much of a social life. I've always believed that you accept someone for who and what they are; you can't just pick and choose what you like and try to get rid of the rest. It doesn't work that way. I fully expect to be treated in the same manner I treat others and that's by accepting who everyone is without trying to change them. The old saying 'treat others as you would want to be treated' means a lot to me.I like anything that requires you to think. Mind games, puzzles, anything of that sort. Debates are fun, too. But I also like to be outside (when I can get an allergy med to work down here!) and will be outside whenever I can get the change. I like to camp, fish, hunt (yes, hunt), shoot, hike, anything outside. I'm a country girl and was raised to take care of myself so I'm pretty independent. I like just about any kind of music except polka and hard metal, the death metal kind. I'll listen to country and switch to classical and then to rap and r&b. I love to cook but haven't been able to do much lately due to work and schoolwork. To be honest, I've never really been on a 'date'. I won't know what I like until I've tried them. So surprise me!
