I'm a watcher and a listener and even when you think I am engrossed in staring at a crack in the wall I am very much aware of everything and everyone around me. It's habit. Sometimes i'm too honest for my own good, but i'm told it's refreshing to have someone tell it like it is. I have a red nose pit and she means the world to me. I like doing things outdoors; sweating, bugs, dirt, mud, these things don't bother me and i'm looking for someone who will at least occasionally, if not regularly join me in such adventures as kayaking, rollerblading, picnics.I also love all things fantasy, when it comes to movies and the like. I love horror movies, slasher,psychological, cult classics, all of it. I'm part of a feminist collective that meets regularly for conversation/discussion/relaxation, we do anything from read fem lit to helping in each other's gardens, it's a bit cliche but i love every minute i spend with them. I come off a bit brass, so i've been told. It's my teaching voice, i like sharing knowledge, and when i'm in that mode i sound sure of myself. regardless if that's the case. (apparent confidence has gotten me far in life.)I write poetry and always have crazy stories brewing in my head and if i can't make up a song quick enough, i'll just sing what i'm thinking sometimes. i like to play with words like toys, always trying to put them together, take them apart, look inside and shout through them. i believe for the most part that i have a balance between the conflicts inside of myself. I toe the line between logic and lunacy. I'm down to earth and out of my mind. I wouldn't say that i have faith in anything, but i have faith that everything will work out as it's meant to And "you don't have to agree with me, but once you get me going, you better just let me go"I'm looking for a like minded soul, someone who appreciates my outrageousness, challenges my preconceived notions. I want a love that builds, grows out of a friendship founded on open communication and mutual attraction. I can't do one night affairs, i don't enjoy them and frankly, you're gonna have to put in your time in line before you can take the ride. While i'll admit we are just monkeys in shoes and sexual urges exist to be satisfied, we are capable of much deeper connections, you know what i'm talking about...the one that transcends the physical world...touches the spiritual. yeah that, i want that....lol...but you can't rush that and i'm not looking to. I want to fall for a friend, not trip into some pretty girl's bed.I run on wonder and magic. Love is the oil can to my tin man, the spinach to my Popeye, the Tinkerbell to my Peter Pan, the over to my exaggeration...I'm sounding like a 19th century romantic poet... but then again, maybe i am...just a time traveling poet looking for companionship. I love trips to the drive in, it's one of my favorite summer activities. It's an adventure b/c of the drive but i think it's worth it, and it allows for plenty of time to conversate. I just bought a new picnic basket and i'm itching for a drive in/picnic combo!i like to make plans but i can also throw them out the window, or at least let go while you do.
