About Me

Hello :) I'm 26, I work in the medical field with a specialty in oncology. I really enjoy what I do, but it also keeps me quite busy. I worked hard to get to where I am and am lucky enough to have a job I enjoy and find fulfilling. I love the outdoors, and feel most at peace doing things like running, mountain biking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, etc. Though most of my schooling and day-to-day activities involve science and such, I also love art and music. I enjoy poetry, love to read, and writing is a relaxing hobby of mine that keeps me sane on hectic days. I'm close with my family and friends, and my relationships and the people in my life are very important to me. I'm very easy going and get along with most people pretty easily. I tend to enjoy low-key types of outings such as grabbing coffee and going to an art show versus the bar scene. I accept hardships as part of life and try to focus on the beauty of the world around me.I recently moved and am looking to meet people in the area. I'd love to meet someone to hang out with, go hiking with, grab coffee with, etc. I'd love to someday find that special someone, so I guess I'm open to meeting people and seeing where things go from there. I'd be open to a relationship with the right someone.Not really sure what else one is supposed to write in these things - to be honest the whole "describe yourself" thing makes me feel very awkward and uncomfortable, lol.     I'm kind of a timid person at first but once I get comfortable, I can be the loudest of the group.
