About Me

I am an independent and down-to-earth girl who enjoys life and takes it day by day even though I’m a planner so that is difficult for me sometimes. I needed to update this thing it has been awhile and I have been on and off this site lately. I recently changed career directions and feel like I honestly have found my dream job! It’s still a little new and I know at some point most people start to not like their job, but I’m three months in and I absolutely love it! Not that I worked any harder than anyone else because I didn’t but I feel like this transition has been a long time coming and it feels really great to finally love what I do!I love love love to read and learn! I am a huge nerd when it comes to reading, let me loose in a library and I’ll be occupied for hours (kind of lame I know but oh well), but I also enjoy hanging with friends and going out and partying every so often. I try to stay active and love being around people so when the weather permits I love doing anything outdoors with friends and family, (well not anything, I DO NOT like being cold so the winter isn’t my fav, meaning I’m not much on skiing or other snow like activities lol). I am focused right now on being healthy and try to go to the gym often, I started running a few months ago and do enjoy it; however I am by no means a gym rat and do not have the body of one either so if that is what you are looking for its not me. My favorite things to do are watch KU basketball (Rock Chalk!!!) and other sports, read, nap (I rarely get to do that these days), shop (This too I rarely get to do anymore, I work in non-profit so I’ll never be a millionaire) clean, bake, laugh, and spend time with my best friends, Not exactly sure what I am looking for on here, but I thought I would give it a try and see where things go… I’m looking to spend time with people who are good-hearted, open-minded, driven, and funny, all characteristics I believe myself to have. I'm up for anything, but i'm terrible at making the decision. I know it shouldn't always be up to the guy but i'm just a go with the flow type of person so deciding is always difficult for me!
