I like to think that I am a creative person, I love to paint, draw and make crafts. There is nothing like a colouring book and crayons to make a bad day better.I love indie music and discovering something new. I have a slowly growing vinyl collection, I love thrift stores and yard sales to get great deals on records. Although my yard sale record player is not working right and I might have to break down and buy a new one. Summer just won't be right without a little vinyl playing on warm night.I enjoy late night kitchen dancing and singing classic rock while I clean. Cheaptrick's "I want to you to want me" seems to be the one that pops up the most.I'm a big reader, sometimes its really hard to put a book down. I'm a big fan of comedy and satire books and some mystery.I got a banjo for Christmas and I am slowly teaching myself to play, its slow going and I really need to practice more.I am an environmentalist at heart (one reason I am a vegan) and I would love to live off the grid one day. Being self sustaining and living off the land is a big interest of mine, however large or small scale it may be.

I am a single mom, I love being a Mommy and I'm a good woman for the right guy.I have everything I need without a man; a new car, a home and a sense of security and stability. I have plenty of goals that I wish to accomplish in my life that would include; investments in real estate properties (rentals) that are nice and affordable for working families, I want to obtain a Master's degree in nursing and if I can another Master's in Social Work, volunteer with my favorite charities more and give back however I can. My ultimate goal in life would be to help other people either with their medical or socio-economical issues (If I'm lucky both). It is extremely important to me that my daughter see me as a role model and that would extend to any significant other that comes along. My daughter will always and forever hold my heart in her hands and though I would love to have more children, even step-children, I would like her to feel special to someone I'm dating. Basically, if you want me, my baby comes with and we're a package deal. She has no Father in her life so there's no drama to deal with. We're just a simple family of two looking for that special someone to complement the beautiful life we already have. A nice dinner and an activity where we can get to know each other and talk would be nice. Save the Ballet for a rainy day, lol. I believe a first date is a representation of things to come so I do appreciate some effort.
