Hello! Some things I have come to believe:I believe that relationships are like everything else in life - the reward is worth the effort. :) I have learned that you cannot win the "prize" unless you run in the race - so put your running shoes on and participate! It is my experience, that similarities attract but differences keep it interesting. ABOUT ME: I am a very outgoing, loyal, affectionate and confident person. I am someone who often makes others laugh and appreciates someone who can do the same for me. Im a bit of a smart ass and I find myself drawn to a like personality. :) I, therefore, need someone who can partake in witty banter :). Things that are important to me......I am my fathers daughter - therefore I love all sports - both watching and playing and I still play often. (Please be able to throw a ball :***Family is very important to me and Im looking for somone who places the same importance on it. I have two amazing nieces who I love dearly and spend a lot of time with. I would say Im looking for someone who has interests of his own, who loves kids (whether he has them or not) and someone with a brain (please?). I value honesty, communication and trust - building blocks for any relationship and a foundation that I want. ABOUT YOU: For me to be remotely interested (and keep me interested), I need: FUN,'SPICE' and HUMOR - those things make life so much more enjoyable. If you are a "Debbie Downer" - please look elsewhere. I prefer to smile and laugh and Im looking for someone to compliment me in that outlook. The glass is always half full.I am searching for someone STRONG - emotionally and mentally (physically would be fantastic too lol). Someone to create a partnership of sorts with - Someone who accepts that times might get tough - as with any relationship in life. We all stumble - thats why its a comfort to go through life hand in hand. I desire someone who will have my back at all times, who is quick to apologize as needed and I too will offer the same. If perhaps - you know a person like this that I have described lol- or if its you - even better - send me a message. :) It doesnt matter what we do - its more about who I'm with.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that this thing they call "DATING" is for sans kids singles or non-custodial parents. Well, I guess it depends on your situation and whether or not you separate your adult life from your child's life. I am one of those mommies who is not wanting to be in that "This is your uncle this week!" category. If you happen to be a single dad who doesn't welcome your children into the revolving door of your love life then CONGRATULATIONS for putting your kids first and being the rare exception to the rule. Nothing wrong with introducing your kids to a significant other when the time is right or the situation is appropriate. But "Hey kids, this is Bambi and she is spending the weekend with us" just seems a bit tacky to me. But there are a few overnight visitations with either grandma or dad. And mommy does get a bit of me time now that she is in preschool for 4 afternoons a week. So I guess I could start scheduling lunch dates or mid-afternoon coffee house dates M-Th say sometime between 12:***pm. I am trying to get used to having this me time, but find that 3 hours goes by in a ***, that is my big disclaimer as it seems nearly impossible for me to be available to date at the drop of a hat. It takes some planning in advance to make sure it jibes with the visitation schedule or I can find a sitter. But for right now I think it is better to put myself in that boring, just looking for friends for now category. I am just being honest and not going to blow any smoke up anyone's butt. I am really pretty set in my ways and know what I like and don't like. I like going out to try new hobbies, experiencing new cuisine or checking out a band I've never heard before. I don't mind the bar scene now and again to do karaoke or listen to live music. I would even like to do one of those trivia nights. But I rarely drink these days due to finding I get a tad more tipsy than I would like. I like walks in the park, bowling, going to the movies, shooting pool and visiting art museums. Aside from playing in the park with my kid, dancing, the occasional aquacize class and tennis just for fun I rarely get my heart rate elevated for optimal fitness. Just not much of an exercise enthusiast, but know I should force myself to do more physical activity. I am a couch potato most evenings, and should just say In a Relationship with HBO as my *** Yes, I admit I am a bit of social media whore. But wean off what I call the facecrastination. So if all that brutal honesty hasn't bored the crap out of you, then please do hit me up for the initial e-mail conversation and "Let's Do Coffee" sorta deal. Late morning or early afternoon to meet up at a cafe or pub. Then we can do something fun and even active like a stroll thru a park or perhaps bowling. Tennis? I can't play very well, but like just the back and forth over the net. I love going to the movies, but that isn't the best for a first date as you can't really talk. Art museum would be a great first date as well.
