I am lucky enough to have a great family that taught me life wasn't just about having fun but making a life for yourself. It's because of this that I have a good balance of work and fun! I have made a good career for myself, even though it is still pretty early for me. I graduated from UHD with a Bachelors in Business - Supply Chain Management and currently work as an operations manager for a small logistics company. I am also working on my second professional certification is just over a year. I value a good strong work ethic but I am also a self proclaimed 'weekend warrior!' I do know how to have a good time!OH and...I think I have figured out the truth meaning of life...are you ready for it? I think the meaning of life is forming great bonds and great memories. Afterall that is the ONLY thing you can take with you! Whether it's having fun or busting your butt to make a great career for yourself - the only thing that matters is that you not squander your life away on the what if's and keep moving forward! I believe that if you aren't constantly trying to better yourself, whether it be personally or professionally then you aren't really living!I think some things should be left to a phone call or first date so I won't go on any longer. A few things... Another thing.. if we exchange numbers don't think that a few texts are going to do the trick, pick up the phone and call so we can have a REAL conversation. I simply hate it when a date is planned via text only. Don't get me wrong I like to text but I want to hear your voice too! I am old fashioned and believe it is up to the man to plan something. Although I don't think it is a bad idea to discuss options first - over the phone!

Looking for: man. In age: 24-34
I recently graduated with my masters in social work, but unsure of where the Lord is leading me next! This is a sabbatical summer and I'm loving the reality that we must be fed in order to feed. I hope to someday start my own company as a local and global wilderness guide with therapeutic components. I'm known as the class clown, but I have a fine balance of humor and vulnerability/realness. Honestly, I think first dates have a lot weighing on them, and it's not about trying to impress each other! I'm all about taking it slow and easy, being yourself, and going for a hike to get to know each other, and if we feel things are going well we grab dinner! Easy right?!

Me:I'm pretty; just not the standard American ideal of pretty.I'm smarter than average, but I'm not going to rub your nose in it.I'm unreasonably busy, but not so busy that I can't make time for dating and a social life.I tend to date very tall, very smart men, who are adorably socially awkward, but I'm open to changing my pattern.I like clothes and shoes.I love Wonder Woman.I am almost done with a teaching degree, but if I could do anything I would travel, write, and get my PhD in British literature, OR be a research librarian. My hair is an ever changing canvas. You:No younger than 27; no older than 40.Should be fun, funny, and kind. You should not have kids (sorry single Dads are amazing, but I've been burned in this area before)Be willing to have adventures. It would be nice if you read a real book on occasion, and can have somewhat intellectual conversations, or at least be open to non-judgemental idea exchange. I love being outdoors when possible, but I'm up for anything. I do like to keep it public. :)
