About Me

I try to be down to earth and honest with people. I smile and laugh as much as possible (when appropriate). I tend to put others first and don't have too many moments of selfishness. Often get told I'm very cheerful, friendly, caring, and a weird hybrid of nerd, geek and outdoorsy. Friends joke that I'm one of the guys and drama free (because drama annoys me and I tend not to associate myself with it!)These days I've been trying to be more adventurous and doing more physical activities to get fitter and healthier (not quite there but greatly improved from before). I study Shorinji-kan Jiu-Jitsu so you may see me bruised up a lot from it. Recently tried Parkour for the first time, would love to learn to do that better. Pretty good at baking, cooking not so much. But I do make an amazing breakfast!I have grey and green eyes, hence selecting "Other".I'm not necessarily looking for someone who's geeky, only because I've dated so many of those in the past and none of them have worked. So if you consider yourself pretty geeky, I'd pass on messaging me. I'm going in a direction where I would like to meet someone with enough interests different from mine.     So I'm known to my friends and family as... "the bad luck guy". Though this has negative connotations, in the sense that I will always find myself in a pickle, whether through my doing or the universe's, it has made me pretty fiesty in life and rather independent. Going out and trying a new restaurant, great conversation, and walking around the City. Doing something cultural during the day would be fun as well like going to the Smithsonians and checking out a new exhibit. I like someone who is adventurous and maybe for a first date would want to try something new.
