I can't imagine living anywhere else at this point in my life, but I do understand that circumstances can change and I'm always willing to go with the flow.A little about me..... you'll see. I like to look good, but I'm far from a fashionista. I prefer a quiet pub to a noisy club. I'm fairly low maintenance, but I still like being romanced. What I like...Shockingly, like so many others on here, I love music. I guess if I had to classify, I listen to alternative rock mainly.; Levellers being the most played these days. I also love art. The likes of Dali and MC Escher top my list of favourites. As a graphic designer, I'm a sucker for fonts, colours, and interesting and innovative design (there's that geeky side showing it's face).I like to spend my time with my wonderful friends enjoying good conversation over drinks or a meal, taking a drive with no place to be and seeing where we end up, wandering the beautiful parks, trails, and beaches on this amazing island with my camera, or simply hanging out at home with a good book, a movie, my guitar or someone special. I'm told have a great sense of humour. I can dish out the jokes, but I can take them too (I have an older brother, so I learned fast). Positivity is the key to a happy life and I strive each day to look at life in a positive way...do you? What I'm looking for in you...I'm looking for someone who will be my best friend and my partner. Someone I can be myself around. If you are the one I want to get old and wrinkly with, you need to be someone that can still challenge me intellectually and make me laugh for years to come. A mutual attraction is a good start, but the right personality to match is just as important. I expect you to be honest, loyal, faithful, trustworthy, intelligent, respectful, driven, a good communicator, have a great sense of humour, a healthy self esteem, know your own heart, and most important of all, your actions must be in alignment with your words. first I hate filling these things out.....buttttt here it goes quick, I love the outdoors. Hiking, biking, fishing....all sports..im a very happy person. I love road trips. And coffee. I love reality tv but I do appreciate a good HBO drama. I am a country music fan at heart but nothing beats some retro 80’s or classic rock. I haven’t been to a concert I didn’t like and I have seen one group 4 times in the last 2 years (I am not admitting as to who!). I read over 40 books a year (book nerd alert!) but I usually never read the same author twice. I met my best friend in grade 7 and we still talk almost every day. I am obsessed with the weather forecast. And CNN. I come from a big sports family and play hockey, soccer and recently Ultimate Frisbee. I have a love-hate relationship with the gym. I am constantly trying to become a workout-before- I have been lucky to grow up in a “normal” family, but I still suffer from middle child syndrome. I care way too much about what shoes a guy is wearing. Better yet I care way too much about what shoes I am wearing. I am a homebody at heart but the outdoors is my favourite place. Especially the beach and cottage life. Are you a normal guy who loves adventure and sports? If you can handle some country music, reality tv and road trips, then maybe you are the one for me :)
