I like to look good, but I'm far from a fashionista. I prefer a quiet pub to a noisy club. I'm fairly low maintenance, but I still like being romanced. What I like...Shockingly, like so many others on here, I love music. I guess if I had to classify, I listen to alternative rock mainly.; Levellers being the most played these days. I also love art. The likes of Dali and MC Escher top my list of favourites. As a graphic designer, I'm a sucker for fonts, colours, and interesting and innovative design (there's that geeky side showing it's face).I like to spend my time with my wonderful friends enjoying good conversation over drinks or a meal, taking a drive with no place to be and seeing where we end up, wandering the beautiful parks, trails, and beaches on this amazing island with my camera, or simply hanging out at home with a good book, a movie, my guitar or someone special. I'm told have a great sense of humour. I can dish out the jokes, but I can take them too (I have an older brother, so I learned fast). Positivity is the key to a happy life and I strive each day to look at life in a positive way...do you? What I'm looking for in you...I'm looking for someone who will be my best friend and my partner. Someone I can be myself around. If you are the one I want to get old and wrinkly with, you need to be someone that can still challenge me intellectually and make me laugh for years to come. A mutual attraction is a good start, but the right personality to match is just as important. Heya!!!! In a nutshell..Professional daydreamer... Animal lover, I've got 3 cats so if that's an issue save your fingers the pain of typing out a message... I love to read... I'm a beer drinking, dive bar kinda girl... I love my yoga pants and lip gloss.. I'm always down to see a live band.. I own a guitar but don't know how to play... I like to dance...I live alone... I don't have great interior design talent.. I buy lots of my stuff at thrift stores..but hey, it's definitely my own style...I sometimes leave toothpaste in the sink...my fingernails are never long..I eat a sh*tload of kale.. I even own an "eat more kale" sweatshirt.. I work two jobs.. I'm a hopeless romantic..I have the worst bed head in the morning.. I'm vegetarian, but I own leather... I'm tattooed.... I believe one small act of kindness towards a stranger could make their whole day.. I've got awesome friends.. I'm clumsy.. I eat fairly healthy.. I work out... I'm a single mom to 2 wonderful kiddoes. Focus on my career and kids and don't have time to meet others. Hince the reason I'm here! I love trying new things. Both my kids are into sports so I like soccer, basketball, football, tennis, golf, and extreme sports like moto cross and drag racing. I work from home, sometimes I have to do some day traveling but normally not overnight, unless I can take the kids with me. I don't bar hop but I do enjoy a drink every now and then.
