About Me

Ohhh my...first impression...makes you a bit shy of the description...lol. I am artsy, but I didn't pick that..hipster seemed a little better.....but love them both! My inspiration is the sun...passion is the road...small remote towns...finding hidden artisans...listening to the story from the man in the chair on the porch of the general store. My art is creating jewelry and my profession is in management. I like comedies and freak out on thrillers! Elope!!......bet that flipped you out!! Lol..a coffee or social piña colada, car show or bike show, lawn mower races (my favorite...people build some crazy powerful things!) just something comfortable.

Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

Friends would describe me as a woman of integrity and faith who is fearless, loyal, adventurous, creative, and passionate with a unique flair! I've been told I'm "down-to-earth" w/bling...I even do my gardening w/painted nails and make-up! I'm very open-minded, but have also learned to tell it as I see it...since I no longer choose to "settle" or compromise important values. I'm fairly secure in my identity and prefer my counterpart to be the same. If you're looking for someone who can gut a fish, camp in the wild or wrestle a grizzly, that's NOT me!...haha. I'm an active and high-energy person who enjoys diversity among my friends. I tend to appear and behave more youthful than most my age. My ideal match will be intellectually stimulating with a playful sense of humor, who has a positive attitude with an appreciation for life's blessings, as well as challenges. They should be goal-oriented, have the ability to articulate thought and emotion, be honest and trustworthy, have strength of character without being controlling (there's a difference!), not hung-up on past issues, nor be intimidated by a confident gal with a gift of gab - who is also a balloon artist! (lol) Life is not a dress rehearsal...and it should be lived loud and large and luxuriously! I look forward to meeting new people and hearing from you if you are looking for a new friend, and can relate to the attributes I've described. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!" I am purposed to love hard, laugh often and live like there's no tomorrow....because yesterday is history - today is a gift - and tomorrow is a mystery yet to explore!

Woman. 52 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

I actively engage in the following: music, live theater, wine tasting and education, travel, cooking, dinner parties, swimming, movies, reading.I think life is much more complete when you experience it with others. I enjoy seeing and doing new things on this magnificient planet we call EARTH. I am an education junkie and believe life is most fulfilling when we seek out new knowledge and perspectives. The one thing I can count on is change and when I am done changing....well than I am DONE!I believe in GOD and attempt each day for my actions to reflect it.....but I do fall short each and everyday!Looking for a friendship that has the potential of becoming a loveship.-- Honesty and integrity.......got to have them.Life is something to celebrate....each and everyday....be a blessing to someone along your way! Talk-Talk-Talk and see what happens. Nothing ventured nothing gained....a philosophy that forces me to explore new avenues and adventures every day!

Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

I am interested in a progressive, intelligent, caring, evolved man who cares about the world and its problems, who is self aware, not a workaholic or any other kind of -olic or a religious fanatic, but spiritual in nature. My ideal man would be romantic and think of me when we were not together--I hope I would have given him reason to do so. I am tactile and love touching and showing affection but am not quick to do so. I guess I am reserved until I get to know you. Sometimes that only takes 15 minutes . . . it depends on whether we click or not. If you make me laugh, I might be wiping food off your face.I love to cook and do so for friends and family when time allows.Things I would like to do with my significant other are to learn line dancing or contra dancing, tai-chi, yoga, and pottery. For that, you get to choose four of your own that do not require me to jump from high places or ride on motorcycles or boats or scuba dive. I don't like heights, I get motion sick, and I am claustrophobic, but other than that, I am totally normal!I love to laugh at my own foibles. I have an irreverent sense of humor. I make others laugh because I am a klutz and am known to knock things over, fall, or to walk around with TP stuck to my shoe. I am good-natured and so won't get mad if you laugh when I do fall. Just help me up, please?I seek a guy who doesn't value possessions over people. I have been trying to shed more of them as I get older so that I can leave this world the way I came into it: naked, broke, and preferably still owing my student loans!I am more attracted to intelligence and kindness. I like geeky intellectuals but who are passionate underneath--something only I get to see :)I seek a man who is non-judgmental, embraces diversity, is romantic, is a great kisser; who practices random acts of kindness, who will bring me wildflowers, and who will challenge me to be better--emotionally, physically, and intellectually.I root for the underdog. My son is a manager and has me hooked up. I can then meet in the lunch room with all of the other folks who got their MFAs and we can eat our PBJs and talk about deconstructionist theory or post modern hermeneutics. Any live small venue concert is great, preferably folk!
