I recently moved into the area. I enjoy walking my dog, watching Masterpiece Theatre - comedies - drama, reading, playing the piano, and learning how to stay healthy and fit. Many of my goals have been met as I am well traveled and educated (two degrees) However, I enjoy going to new places and visiting countries and cities that I enjoyed - going to musuems and antique shops. I like tennis. I haven't skied for years but use to ski in the Alps. I lived in Europe for a few years and taught in a private school. I love history and believe that countries as well as people repeat their mistakes if they don't learn from them. I like to be around a positive (like me) fun but knowledgeable person. I am more of a listener than a talker but if I get on a subject that I know; I can carry on a good conversation. I like to dance and love most music. I am an author and wrote a book for teen girls and young women as well as designed a program. I am refined but love to put on jeans. I will only be attracted to someone who takes care of their personal looks i.e weight management and eats healthy. Also a man who is clean shaven.I am gentle, spiritual, caring and looking for the same in another person. I enjoy watching live basketball and hockey.I love to laugh. A sense of humor is a must. I like a person who can be serious but also someone who is lighthearted. I believe in a nice balance toeverything in life. No one ever accused me of being boring ....I did a lot of fun jobs in my life such as teaching children theatre skills, a make-up artist, a model, and worked on families genealogy.) another a few years ago in my kitchen, and outside my back yard.I would like someone to be a true friend and then everything else will take its course in due time.
