About Me

I love to dance to almost all music. If I'm out dancing to good music, I'm usually happy! I enjoy going out to eat, but also happy to hang out at home too with a bowl of popcorn. I'd love to find a partner who likes to talk and laugh and find our place in the world together. I am not looking for perfect, but do want a man who is not afraid of getting close on both a physical and emotional level, and who stays in shape. I am an honest person looking for same and dont want to bother with players. I studied ballet, modern, and jazz dance and write poetry also. I also love reading fiction and sometimes National Geographic too. I'm pretty good at analytic thinking--like science--but like the arts better. I have two great kids, both boys, who keep me silly crazy, and forever grateful for them. I just need one more man of ethics, with a great heart to add more fun, and hang with through the sometiimes tough spots we all have. Oh, and watch adventure movies too-- x-men, Green Lantern -- cant get enough of those adventure movies. I also love to listen to all kinds of music except some rap and some country. Would enjoy checking out comedy shows too, and always welcome people inspiring me to laugh at life and myself. First date of coffee or tea is good to see if we like each other.If so maybe dinner next, or drinks and live music.

    Okay, well here we go. I've independently raised 3 wonderful children and am at a pretty comfortable place in my career. I now find myself with an empty nest and plenty of time on my hands. I am quite outgoing and will strike up a conversation with just about anyone. I really do enjoy being around people and tend to be the "funny" one in the group. Because of this, most people likely think I'm a crazy party girl, but the truth is, I really enjoy spending a lot of time at home with a book, a movie or just listening to music. I love pretty much all music and really love to sing along. No, it's not pretty, but I do sing with all my heart! I enjoy cooking and think I'm pretty good at it. I don't use a recipe very often, so sometimes it's an experimental thing. Yes, I've failed on occasion, but usually it's not bad at all. I love to take walks around the city. Often times I do this on my own, but it's much more fun to do with someone else. I love sports...football is probably my favorite. Love to go the Century Link for the games, but also enjoy a lazy Sunday watching the Red Zone all day. Lately I've been thinking quite a lot about how fortunate I've been in my life,so far. However, now that I have so much time on my hands, I feel a bit lost and have spent the last few months considering what is the next step. Travel? Classes? Volunteering?.... I'm just not sure yet. I would very much enjoy meeting someone who is in a good place in his life who may have some fun, exciting and fulfilling experiences he might like to share with me. I'm ready!! Not too much pressure. Maybe coffee or a casual lunch somewhere would be nice. I'm open to any activities, but would prefer to keep the first meeting casual and easy.
