About Me

I am an easy-going, loving, caring, affectionate woman who has a lot to offer the right man. I can't believe it's been so hard finding a guy I am not only physically attracted to but one who wants the same things I do in life. Whatever happened to the guys who love being with one woman and building a solid relationship? I miss having a partner in crime. Someone who has my back and I have his. Someone who wants a serious relationship and wants to work on making it fun so it will last forever. I don't think opposites attract. I think the things that bring people together are the things they DO have in common and enjoying doing together. When someone asks me what my "type" is for a man, that's very hard to answer. If we're talking about physical traits that attract me, I am very attracted to a guy with a mustache and goatee or just a goatee. A full beard just doesn't do the same for me but if you have one I hope it's trimmed short. I've dated guys who were physical fit and muscular and guys who were 50 pounds overweight but with substance to them. I guess I prefer bigger guys over skinny guys and definitely someone taller than me (at least 5' 8" and above). I don't care if he has a thick head of hair or bald but for me where the chemistry usually starts is his face. A beautiful smile and someone who takes care of their teeth! So that's the physical part but without character all the other stuff doesn't matter. He should be a masculine take charge kind of guy but not arrogant or a "my way or the highway" kind of guy. We should have the same goals for a relationship (long-term), not be afraid to communicate about relationships issues, be giving, sincere, and a GREAT sense of humor! No sense of humor = all of the above gets canceled out. Oh, the other thing that cancels everything out is if you smoke. I have ridden a motorcycle for about 11 or 12 years now and I'm as passionate about riding as some guys are about football or playing golf. I would prefer someone who rides but if you don't ride then I think the only way that would work is if you have your own summer hobbies and interests so I don't feel guilty going riding and you don't get upset that I'm going riding because you're too busy enjoying your own hobby! :) There needs to be a balance for both parties. I'm a pretty normal woman. I work in a professional environment and have 3 wonderful grown kids that have been long out of the nest and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I'm pretty much open to new interests. Whatever you would like to know, just ask me.Music: Pop, country, rock, easy listening, smooth jazz. Movies: Action, comedy, romance. Pretty much anything EXCEPT slasher movies! Someplace quiet to get to know the person to see if it's someone that has the personality to be a friend or there's mutual chemistry for more.

    Well, how do you start? I've spent the majority of my life raising three boys that have turned into wonderful young men. Spent many years in hockey arenas! They have moved on and now it's time to focus on me. I'm taking this time to try new things and take in activities that I've always wanted to do.     Have you noticed how 'top prospects' are about as off base as could be? Guess this site believes opposites attract. It's true we are 'attracted' to our opposite quite often, you know...the good girl and bad boy syndrome? Thats not usually a healthy match. I leave the opposites attract to metals..FYI I may look like an adventurous, spontaneous, up for a good time gal, but I can assure you I don't like spiders, snakes, or any crawly things and I'm far from spontaneous. Spontaneous is one person thinking about something they want to do and then 'spontaneously' springing it on the partner who's expected to drop whatever and go.;) Sound good??? I'm 5'***", wt ***depending on whether I crave pizza and ice cream or stick to my health conscious diet. I cut my hair yesterday just above my shoulders and so far I still haven't changed the color which is a miracle in itself. It's taking everything in me to leave it naturale! So far there's not much gray;..the eye sights fading fast so maybe I'm more gray than I know! ;) That's why our sight fades you know...to ease the impact of the aging process ;)I'm a very settled but unsettled person. I'm very 'zen', earthy, peace living, but can't seem to find that one person I'd like. I truly think it won't happen through the Internet but I'm here bec its possible.I've never thought of myself as the 'princess' type but as I scrolled down the list of personality types thinking 'this is silly' I thought why not, its time I embrace the princess in me ;)I'm 59 and no it wasn't a mistake. Don't you just look at your age and wonder if it's right? How did it happen??? I was 22 and single, then 34 and divorced wtih three kids and now I'm 59 with grand kids! I remember looking in the mirror when I was sixteen, holding my four year old niece and thinking one day I'd be a Momma; now I hold my four year old ggirl in wonder :) I'm located E of GR if that helps.
