I am excited about this time in my life, as the doors are opening for me to have more time to enjoy doing things for myself~~as my son is off to college! I am looking for someone that is comfortable in sharing about himself honestly in conversation, patient in sharing his interests with someone else willing to give it a try and also willing to try new things himself and continue to grow as an individual. I'm not afraid of trying new things even if I may not be so good at it initially, and would appreciate spending time with someone who is also comfortable in trying new things and expanding their enjoyment of life experiences. I try to take care of myself, be active, eat healthy and maintain a positive attitude. I thnk I'm holding up very well as a result I appreciate a sense of humor, but if that isn't your gift, if you can see the sense of ridiculousness in human nature and not take everything so personal and serious in day to day life and interaction with others, you probably have a healthy attitude towards others and life itself. That's a trait I value. I enjoy most types of music, it all depends on the mood at the time. I have enjoyed dressing up and going to a few symphonies in my time as well as a number of rock concerts. Other times peaceful *** will fill my home. When it comes to a first date, I think it depends on the degree of interest. If there seems to be uncertainty on either or both parts, I think meeting simply for a cup of coffee in a no pressure situation and plan just for an hour or so is a good way to check each other out. On the other hand, if in corresponding and speaking on the phone there seems to be a great amount of interest on both parts, then a little more in depth date with more time set aside would be awesome. For example, meeting in a neighborhood known for it's unique restarants for a meal and then walking and taking in the sites while we talk. Maybe I'll let you hold my hand. :-)

    Well I guess this is just a another way to meet people???? Me althogh I have heard women's age is a big secret but soon I will turn 52.
