I am excited about this time in my life, as the doors are opening for me to have more time to enjoy doing things for myself~~as my son is off to college! I am looking for someone that is comfortable in sharing about himself honestly in conversation, patient in sharing his interests with someone else willing to give it a try and also willing to try new things himself and continue to grow as an individual. I'm not afraid of trying new things even if I may not be so good at it initially, and would appreciate spending time with someone who is also comfortable in trying new things and expanding their enjoyment of life experiences. I try to take care of myself, be active, eat healthy and maintain a positive attitude. I thnk I'm holding up very well as a result I appreciate a sense of humor, but if that isn't your gift, if you can see the sense of ridiculousness in human nature and not take everything so personal and serious in day to day life and interaction with others, you probably have a healthy attitude towards others and life itself. That's a trait I value. I enjoy most types of music, it all depends on the mood at the time. I have enjoyed dressing up and going to a few symphonies in my time as well as a number of rock concerts. Other times peaceful *** will fill my home. When it comes to a first date, I think it depends on the degree of interest. If there seems to be uncertainty on either or both parts, I think meeting simply for a cup of coffee in a no pressure situation and plan just for an hour or so is a good way to check each other out. On the other hand, if in corresponding and speaking on the phone there seems to be a great amount of interest on both parts, then a little more in depth date with more time set aside would be awesome. For example, meeting in a neighborhood known for it's unique restarants for a meal and then walking and taking in the sites while we talk. Maybe I'll let you hold my hand. :-)

    Have you noticed how 'top prospects' are about as off base as could be? Guess this site believes opposites attract. It's true we are 'attracted' to our opposite quite often, you know...the good girl and bad boy syndrome? Thats not usually a healthy match. I leave the opposites attract to metals..FYI I may look like an adventurous, spontaneous, up for a good time gal, but I can assure you I don't like spiders, snakes, or any crawly things and I'm far from spontaneous. I'm 5'***", wt ***depending on whether I crave pizza and ice cream or stick to my health conscious diet. I cut my hair yesterday just above my shoulders and so far I still haven't changed the color which is a miracle in itself. It's taking everything in me to leave it naturale! So far there's not much gray;..the eye sights fading fast so maybe I'm more gray than I know! ;) That's why our sight fades you know...to ease the impact of the aging process ;)I'm a very settled but unsettled person. I'm very 'zen', earthy, peace living, but can't seem to find that one person I'd like. Don't you just look at your age and wonder if it's right? How did it happen??? I was 22 and single, then 34 and divorced wtih three kids and now I'm 59 with grand kids! I remember looking in the mirror when I was sixteen, holding my four year old niece and thinking one day I'd be a Momma; now I hold my four year old ggirl in wonder :) I'm located E of GR if that helps.
