If you know yourself, expressing who you are to others is easy; if you do not, it becomes nearly impossible. What you say does matter. How you say it matters more, as proven *** I am a driven realist that believes in others and in myself. I am usually a good judge of character and love getting to know interesting people since no meaningful connection is wasted. Intellect and curiosity are very important to me; I appreciate the ability to express thoughts clearly and to follow them wherever they lead. I see beauty in my surroundings and want to guide others to do so for themselves. I sing, I explore and I rarely hold back. I am athletic and enjoy few things as much as a physical challenge. Fitness is important to me; I enjoy the feeling of pushing myself physically and need to trust that a long-term partner cares about their quality of life enough to not let themselves go. I am always working to improve and think that we are all stronger than we allow ourselves to be. Summer has always been my favorite season, I intend to make the most of it and bring that approach to everything I experience. One of my goals is to visit every continent at least once. So far I am doing quite well at it, and hope to soon find countless more adventures. I will one day have my hang-gliding license, but am filling that void by learning to surf. Just when I thought competitive sport was not something I had time or determination for I discovered canoe and kayak racing. Although I haven't been at it for long, I hit the lake at every possible chance I get and am already fascinated by a sport I knew I'd love.I know what I want, I know myself, and I want to share those things with someone who is already walking their own path. If we connect well, those paths may collide. There is no template for a first date. You figure these things out one first date at a time.

    I'd say that I'm pretty much your average 25 year old girl but if my *** be believed, most 25 year old girls are married and/or saddled with children. So I guess that makes me an exception to the rule. Actually, I think that sums me up quite nicely, I was never a big fan of rules anyway. I have a job, not a career, and for those of you who read that and think, 'I want a girl who knows what she wants to do!' think a little more about that before you judge those of us who are willing to try things out before making decisions. Chances are if she knows what she wants to do, she has a damn good idea of what she wants you to do, how much money she wants you to make, and how much of that money is going to be spent on her. Just something to think about ;) I am not a materialistic person, but obviously I'd be lying if I said money didn't matter to me at all- I have to be able to keep a roof over my head somehow, right? On my down time, I am usually hanging out with my friends;;.. Pretty much anything) or drawing or writing. During the summer I do enjoy going for walks, kayaking, camping, tossing around a baseball or kicking round a soccer ball. During the winter, skating, taboozening, I've skiied once but would definitely be open to going again. I am an easy going, patient person who is slow to anger and doesn't hold a grudge, I just don't see the point. In saying that, I am very opinionated and am usually pretty passionate about those opinions, however I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I am an avid animal lover, I have 3 spoiled cats (well 2 cats and a kitten) of my own that I adore and some day wouldn't mind having a dog (space permitting of course). I have a sarcastic sense of humour that gets me in to trouble as often as not, and I love to be surrounded by funny people who can make me laugh. For a first date I'd be open to do pretty much anything that would allow us to get to know one another better!

I know what I want in my life, and if you're just another lost soul with no hope of truly living their life don't bother wasting my time.
