Thanks for stopping by! I’’s in Accounting in ***. I know that most people will have made a face by this point, but come on, who doesn’t love numbers?? Ha! I now work full time as an accountant at a local CPA firm.Although work takes up a large portion of my time, in my spare time I’m either cooking/baking (because I love it), out with friends, or watching movies. I've been playing piano since I was 5, so I spend some of my spare time doing that as well. I also try to make it to the gym a few times a week… I’m very independent and have noticed over the years that it may come off the wrong way. I pay my own bills and open my own doors, it’s nothing personal, I promise! I also enjoy sports…I went to my first baseball game this year and loved it.I have a very sarcastic sense of humor which falls in the category of “either you like it or you don’t.” I am sometimes somewhat spastic...I have some great clumsy moments. I also have no problem breaking out out in a spaz dance whether I'm in my car or my house if a song I love comes on...or something fantastic happens. It's happened in the middle of the store before when I found something I had been looking for. :0)I also own a cat, well he’s not like any cat I’ve ever known, but he is my little man, so if you don’t like cats…we’re probably not going to get along. I love dogs, I’m just not home enough to have one. When it comes to a relationship, I believe in ***relationships. I’m not going to put in all of the effort and I wouldn’t expect you to put in all of the effort. A relationship works because two people try. It’s not an ***or ***! I also enjoy having someone around who can hold an intelligent conversation. Not being able to converse with someone makes it difficult. I’m looking for someone who has an idea of what they want to do with their life. I’ve never understood how people can float through life without any motivation or drive. I’ve worked hard to get where I’m at, and wouldn’t expect anything less from someone I’m dating.**Please note: I am not looking for a "casual" relationship...and I don't look to date for short-term. Relationships take time, but planning to cut them short just doesn't work for me...just an FYI. I don’t lie and I don’t cheat, so if you do either of those, please don’t contact me.***Warning: If you send me a message, and you leave out words (because you think it's cool), have multiple misspellings, and just fail at English (and by this I mean English is the language you grew up speaking) then I will most likely send you a message back with corrections. Perhaps if your teachers and parents had done this for you, you would know how to converse in a mildly intelligent manner. This question always boggles me. It just depends who I am going out on a date with. I'm not very picky when it comes to deciding what to do with an evening or a day. I am not an ideal match for you if:- You're looking for someone to act like a mom- You are lost in life and don't know where you're going- You don't know the difference between your/you're and to/too- You are old enough to be my father...or grandfather. To figure this out, take your age, subtract 16. In other words, if you are 40 or older, I am not going to respond to your e-mails.**This is a list in progress**

Hello! I am a creative type who enjoys conversing with and getting to know others. I strive to connect with people and am fascinated with each person's story because we all have one. I am passionate about writing and aspire to write novels and poetry for my career. I've had one publication and am happy to continue the journey towards something that will truly make me happy versus choosing to do something that will simply earn a paycheck. I recently got into volunteer work and find it fulfilling in many different ways. I enjoy traveling whether with a companion or alone (I've done both). I like going out to dinner and trying different kinds of food - I'll try almost anything once. I enjoy nice things, but please do not miscontrue this as materialism as I am not a materialistic person. I enjoy nature and photographing it. I have manners and really try to surround myself with people that do as well. I respect others and seek the same respect in return. I believe in kindness and compassion. I like to have fun (and I know that is general, but fun comes in many different forms). I like to laugh, but more so to make other people laugh. I value relationships with family and friends. I'm a social creature and that will probably never change. I like to stay home as much as I like to go out. I think balance is the key to everything. I like ***'s fashion. I believe the style of that decade was classy and impeccable. I enjoy listening to music from the 50's through the 90's. I like to sing, but absolutely couldn't make a career out of it. I could probably continue on and on about my interests, preferences, likes, dislikes, but then there'd be no mystery anymore and that seems awfully boring! I don't know that I have an ideal first date scenario because really it depends on the person and the day and so many other things that really it isn't fair to try to paint a picture of what perfect looks like. I like going out to dinner so I'll say that.
