What is wrong with those numbers? Seems to be that no matter where you are in life! Women always have their choice!I try my best to eat healthy and exercise as often as possible. A. for many years than moved back to the Bay Area a few years ago. I'm a huge animal lover and have done lots of rescue over the years (my pets are all death row animals saved at the last minute). I have no baggage of any kind and am very laid back. I actually have manners (yes, I know it's rare) and am very aware of my surroundings. I'm very athletic, play on a couple softball teams, I bowl once a week and run every day. I like local sports (but you don't have to). I still have a good portion of my original hair and I do not want to brag, but I own a Hyundai. I hate cooking but I know the exact amount of time to microwave a poptart. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and am a creative person and am involved in various creative endeavors. I am quick witted and will make you laugh. I don't have a lot of "toys" in fact, I don't really know anything about cars. I have to take my car in to have the floor mats rotated. The guy next door has a sign on his car that says, "for sale, by owner." Well who else? Is someone sitting around going " I think I'm going to sell it." All my pics are recent so you can see what I look like now - please have current pics of you , not pictures of you from ***. (I'm on a streak of meeting up with women who it turns out had ***year old pics on their profile)I prefer to *** bit before talking just to see if there's any chemistry. I seem to chat with a lot of women who simply answer my questions ask me nothing. I don't get it but if all you do is respond to my queries and show no interest, I usually stop *** initiate contact with me but then don't say anything except respond to my questions - it's completely baffling (seriously, can someone explain it to me?). Sports, music, comedy/humor, and beer are pretty much the four things I lean on to help me maintain my sanity in this crazy world.I enjoy staying active with all kinds of sports. Tennis and basketball are my favorites but I also like running, golf, biking, hiking, racquetball, paddle tennis, bowling, volleyball, swimming, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some others. If you're not somewhat interested in sports and/or staying fit, it is unlikely we would be a good match.I loooove music. It's food for my soul, and my soul is ravenous! I like straightforward rock, alt- I still love going to concerts and feeling the energy of a band in the groove and the audience going along for the ride.I like writing and am determined to make it a career, most likely comedy writing in some fashion. For now I'm paying the bills at a tech start-up as an Operations Manager - a jack-of-all-trades. IT and office manager, webmaster, marketing/product manager, engineering assistant, bookkeeper, researcher, etc. It's a decent living, but just is not my passion. So I've got to make that right.And although I do love beer, I certainly don't overdo it. Been there, done that, in my younger days. And my body eventually said in emphatic fashion "you are hurting me, bro." And I listened. Because I want to live, hopefully for a long time yet.I'm very open-minded and not judgmental at all. I try to look at every day of life as a gift of sorts, since you never know how long you've got. I've been told I'm quite funny and fun to be with, and even charming at times. It's a gift. I suppose it's because I'm quite comfortable with who I am (flaws and all), which is principally a genuine, honest, considerate, funny, guy-next-door type who can be very spontaneous, adventurous, and a bit off the beaten path.For the record, I'm close to wrapping up an amicable divorce. We've been separated and living far apart for quite some time, so we're certainly done with any emotional ties. Now we're just buttoning up the legal end of it. I'm not in a huge hurry to get back in a relationship but that is my eventual goal. So if I met the right person today, I would be actually thrilled to hang up my dating cleats and retire. Because as much as I love women (and goodness gracious sakes alive, I do!), I frankly just don't really enjoy the dating merry-go-round. And I'm just a MUCH better person in a relationship, where there's a deeper understanding, love, and commitment. That's where I feel like I'm at my best. I like first dates to be real casual and fun - ideally an outdoor activity like tennis, golf, biking, hiking, or just walking on a trail by the Bay. Meeting for a casual coffee, breakfast, or food is always good -- perhaps followed by a walk or a movie if things are going well. I'm open-minded and adventurous so any new or off-the-wall activities are fine by me too.
