About Me

I'm a professional man that works very long hours. I am widowed ***, I was married 26 years...I'm looking for simple friendship to start. Someone to share an occassional dinner/lunch, a movie, or maybe the theater. I feel a friend is the best way to create a foundation for a relationship and if that should happen so be it, I am not against this. All my kids are grown and live outside the house the youngest born in 87. My daughter born 85 is in the Army.I love to have a good time. Being in the army for 26 years and the fact that it is a very serious business my sense of humor is my most important trait. I like scuba diving and sky diving but haven't done either in years. I can't fall out of a plane anymore due to a spinal injury. I like trying new things and traveling. I love to drive to new places and just explore Americana. Haven't done the cruise yet but would go in a heartbeat with the right person. I would like to visit the Galapagos Islands.I enjoy watching movies (mostly old but new as well), going to the local regional theater, hocky, football etc...just have to plan it into my schedule. I like doing thing spur of the moment (schedule doesn't allow for too much of that). Long day but it was great.

    I don't mind being goofy and don't usually worry what people think when I do something stupid. :) I still think Disneyland is a great place to go and always will. I love to travel(mostly Local but abroad as well) and have been all over the US and Europe and would love to go back with a special someone. I am a romantic at heart and I believe in showing your affection as often as possible. Quick drives to the Gold country, out and about enjoying the day as we walk hand in hand and enjoy our company and weather no matter what it is. I listen to a variety of music from the 80's to current pop hits and some country. I have a great career and have been involved in a couple businesses. I Love Football and Hockey but know when to use Tivo to spend time with someone important. I love Sci-Fi tv shows and tivo a few of them. I love most animals but just not a cat person(its more that I tolerate them). I am looking for someone who is passionate like me, who likes the simple things in life and loves to spend time together. Movies, sometimes it doesn't matter what you are doing, just knowing your with the right person makes all the difference. Sitting in front of a warm fire in the winter watching a movie or tv show is a great way to spend it with someone special. I have actually been cave Spelunking twice where you didn't see daylight for 5 hours. I love taking road trips and finding new places to go. One of my dream trips is an African Safari that I want to do in the next ***years, wanna go with me??? Definitely casual and fun. maybe coffee/tea, ice cream, Jamba juice even bowling, etc... I think the opportunity is greater to find out if you have chemistry when your actually doing something than just sitting and sipping a drink. but am open to all offers.. :)

    I'm a country boy who loves fishing, hunting, and football. Down to earth kinda of guy but love to have fun in what ever I do. I can have fun in the city when I go but I prefer the lake, river, or beach in the summer and the woods in the winter. Traveling to diferent places is something I like to do time to time. But you can put me around a camp fire with friends and a cold one and I'm right at home, just need a special lady to share those kinda things with.
