I am a single dad who is raising my 22 year old son with autism. He is the friendliest person EVER!!! Because of his innocence he has absolutely no problems with girls liking him and giving him hugs where ever he goes. Me? I'm not that good, that's why I am here. I do have a fantastic sense of humor and I love making people laugh!!!!I hate the "L" word but I do get lonely at times.I like the fact that I am drama free and I look for that to continue. Although I am a city boy and do not hunt or fish {just not my thing} I do like country music and I love talking walks where there is a lot of nature. Parks, boardwalks by a river, a field ect. I like the city but there a lot of romance in places outside the city. HOWEVER, I would love to go camping again someday. I haven't done that since I was in the Army. Lets play that by ear.

I do just about everything under the sun, and if I haven't done it, I'm generally up for trying it. I like to travel. My best trip ever was to Pamplona, Spain, where I ran with the bulls. I have very flexible hours, which is awesome, but weekends in the fall are generally tied up. I love to go out for dinner, but also enjoy cooking at home. I enjoy just about every sport. I'm a runner and have completed 4 marathons and a number of other distances. I'm fairly health conscious, but not obsessive. The first stop after a race is generally a bar to celebrate. Sitting by a bonfire anytime is great, but especially in the fall when there's a chill in the air. The beach is awesome, but I get antsy. I like working in the yard and gardening. I grew up in a house of women, so I even enjoy shopping (shhh!) I will open the door for you, and not just for the first couple months. I'll even do it if I'm "having a moment". I do the little things and the big things, because I like to do them, but I also want to be appreciated for doing them. At the same time I don't mind hanging out and watching a movie. Never married and no children. That doesn't mean I don't want to get married, or haven't wanted to... I never thought it was something that would define me. In other words, it just hasn't happened. That doesn't mean I'm a player, in fact I'm just the opposite. I do want to find someone that will compliment me. I want to find someone who is sweet, thoughtful, open-minded, and knows the difference between funny and clever. I want someone who takes care of themselves, and wants to make me happy, as much as they want to make themselves happy. I want to be wanted, not needed. I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for, and generally know when I see it. That being said, I don't have a "type". I like a girl that has style. It doesn’t have to be a particular style... just a style that fits her. Sassy, playful, even mischievous are good. Confidence is good, narcissism is not.As far as why I'm here... dating, relationship, or long-term? I guess I'm here to find someone to date, but I've never dated someone I didn't want to have a relationship with and I've never had a relationship with someone that I didn't want to be with long-term. Personally, I don't see the point of "dating" someone if you're not attracted to them. Which leads me back to the player issue, I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone if I wanted to be with someone else. It's pretty simple really. I think this is a silly question. There are so many variables, as with most things... The "date" No better way to get to know someone than ***hours in the car... right? (lol)
