About Me

I am a proud father of four grown children and play an active role with all of my adult grandchildren. I am an affectionate person, but not clingy. I am willing to try new things as long as they are within my ethical and moral compass. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and staying active. Until my handball accident left me with vision loss, I was an active handball and basketball player. I am retired from the daily business but continue as Chairman of the board in our family business. I am interested in a woman who is looking for friendship but would prefer someone who is looking for a committed one. Although I have a driver, I would prefer someone who doesn't mind driving. Someone who enjoys spending time together, walking, going to the pool, movies, relaxing on the patio, reading, and listening to music. Occasional travel, short road trips, and flying. It is important they understand that I am sight-impaired, not disabled. Someone who socially fits into any crowd and enjoys educated conversation. I am not interested in excessive drinking, living an unhealthy lifestyle. Too much chatter, only talking and doesn't listen. An overbearing or obsessive personality. someone who doesn't have a mind or opinion of their own and no sense of humor. Since my handball accident, I have lost much of my vision. I still work out with a trainer 3 times a week and continue to walk daily with the company of another. I enjoy listening to audiobooks, traveling, listening to movies, eating good food with an occasional cheat day; who doesn't love a good chocolate chip cookie or a pizza. Chatting about current events, life, and visiting with friends and family.
