I wasn’t sure what to write and have written various “self selling adverts” over the past few months but I think I’m starting to get the hang of this on-line dating malarkey now. I retired recently to look after my Mum and you have to understand she is my first priority, family and friends are very important to me. I was made a widow just over a couple of years ago after ***years of marriage and can be a bit shy around women where dating’s concerned, after all its been a long time and its all different these days, but I would like to meet an understanding lady for a relationship which might develop into something permanent, who knows what life has *** us around the corner? I have five little darlings, all left home ages ago with their own families now but they encouraged me to “get back out there” so here I am. Not sure how good I’ll be “back out there” but time will tell no doubt. I like Sci-Fi, murder mysteries, comedies and action films or TV, I’ve even been known to venture to the cinema! I do light exercise and walk my dog, well, I say exercise it’s a vibrating plate that simulates jogging but you have the added bonus of watching TV at the same time! But getting fitter is something that I want to do in my retirement when I get settled as well as the odd pub lunch out but I’m just as comfortable with nights in as I don’t go out much, something else you could encourage me to do maybe. I like comedy and have been told I have a sense of humour…..sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but humour all the same. My music taste varies from 50’s to 70’s and rock or something modern that sounds similar, yes to show how old I am R&B means rhythm N’ blues not rock N’ base or whatever it stands for these days. Oh! And I have bad dress sense, yeah I know what your thinking “what a catch!!”. So, if you like a challenge and have not been put off by the above, drop us a message.
