* My favorite way to spend my time is trail running in the mountains. I am not a religious person, but if I ever have what might be called a spiritual experience, it would be during my long runs in the mountains. * I try to keep my life simple, with little drama, and focus my attention on a smaller number of interests, values, and people who are most important to me.* While you're most likely to find me running, cooking something healthy (and yummy!), working at a job I love, walking my dog, working on the computer, enjoying my living space, being in the mountains, etc, what I'm "doing" with my life is trying to live in the present moment and enjoy it. I'm fortunate that I have almost no stress, and I'm thankful for being able to create a life where I'm happy.* My diet is important to me - I'm vegan because I don't believe we have a right to treat animals as property. They are sentient beings that suffer as much as we would under the same conditions. The health and environmental benefits are nice side-effects.* I'm a bit of a homebody. I prefer spending my time in a beautiful home environment with my partner and our pets - ideally, cooking a great meal, sharing a bottle of wine, listening to beautiful music, and having quality time together; when not at home, doing something active outdoors together.* Travel seems to rank highly as a priority among members.* Fitness, diet, and health (mental and physical) are important to you. Your version doesn't need to look like mine, but I want to share those basic values with you. * You think for yourself and are willing to challenge conventional beliefs. That probably means you find little in common with most people - you see yourself as different from the crowd and your values are probably out of the mainstream. You lead a conscious and responsible life.* You understand that our relationship is special - we don't take each other for granted, and we know relationships require emotional growth, work, and devotion to make great.
