I believe chivalry is still alive. I go to church most Sundays, but I've been known to spend Saturday night in a strip club. I will recycle anything I can, but love a long hot shower. I have trouble picking a favorite anything because I can't narrow it down to just one. I like happy hours, checking out new restaurants, wine tasting events, dancing, yoga, running, working out and hanging out with friends. I love being around people, but I'm just as likely to go out by myself on any given night. I'm a desk jockey during the day, but I teach yoga in the evenings. Most nights after work, you'll find me at the gym. But only so I can enjoy a really great dinner out. I'll pick a lot of vegetarian entrees, but I love steak :)I'm a pretty down to earth girl. I don't spend hours getting ready and most Fridays, I'd prefer to hit the gym after work and then curl up on the couch to watch a movie and get a pizza. I don't despise texting, but I really prefer a real time conversation on the phone in order to get to know someone. I am a single mom with a 16 year old son, a dog, and a cat. Having a teenage boy I do play video games and watch football. My true passion is cooking, and I do have a degree in the culinary arts. In the summer I enjoy gardening and grilling out almost daily. I also like to watch movies, play cards, and just hang out. In the future I would like to spend a couple of years working on the road catering for bands on tour, and eventually buying my own catering truck. Movies are nice, but for a first date I believe that you should be able to get to know each other. Parks are a wonderful place to set and talk, or just meeting up for a cup of coffee. I think the first date should also be short, because it doesn't take but a second to know if you click. If you click you decide then what to do for your second date, because you already know what to expect. Nobody likes to feel uncomfortable.
