Hi all.dating sites....i think a case of you can,t see the wood for the trees for some on here,,,including myself!well i know that writing one of these is,nt my strong point,i,m not one for exaggeration or lies.i was going to look at all the female ones and take the best bits from them...to catch a women you have to think like a women lol.but my honesty took over so if your reading this i,ll just bore you to submission!not had the benefit of a university education so expressing my thoughts/ambitions/desires on here dos,ent come as easily as it will to some but i,m hoping that dos,ent make me any less datable.i,m just a normal hard working non smoking honest bloke...as i,m sure most blokes on here are! just a bit unlucky in love like me.been single for many years so no hang ups.much prefer a cuppa tea to beer, so you woun,t see me in the local every night.i,m looking for someone who wants someone they can rely on, someone who will be there for them when needed.and hopefully when things move on someone who will provide for them.its not what i can get out of a relationship more of what i can give a relationship.i,m a avid believer in the law of reciprocity.i,ve no particular type everybody has some good points so it would be nice to recieve a message if you could be interested.things i find funny about this site1. pervs and weirdos need not apply..does he actually know hes a perv or weirdo?? always wondered cos i might be one and not know it!?2. why is it the most attractive photos seem to do the most chatting and yet are still on here for years?3.people will spend weeks and weeks chatting to what basically could be anyone.4.same person in profile photos and yet they look so different!5.the words genuine and gym are the most used...and yes i used to go to the gym every day without fail but then i gave up the paper round.6.control freak?? willing/not willing to share tv remote?7.people with red/ginger hair say its any colour but red/ginger. why? red and ginge is nice be proud of it!i,m an old fashioned sort of bloke when it comes to dating and would not expect a woman to put her hand in her pocket even if shes earning more than me!well not much response yet...wondering why?maybe its because i havent said i,m financially ok with a house etc....after all nobody wants a bloke of my age that dos,ent have something to show for all those years hard work do they?me i,m not bothereed its the person i,m interested in not what she dos or dos,ent own.just a little food for thought....they say the camera never lies?now think back to all your exs...would you have been attracted to them off the photo alone?facebook photos...how many on there you would,nt recognise?do you think your photos look like you...i don,t!so all i,m saying ladies is its got to be better to meet in the flesh!how times have changed...used to be a women wanted a bloke for security and to settle with...seems like the women on this site just want someone to do the karaoke with or boogie on the dancefloor!!sorry cant sing a note but will get up and have a jig if i,ve had enough!oh and if i message you and you don,t reply i will not be offended or hassel you...i,m happy with who/what i am but realised a long time ago you can,t please everybody!in fact i think its funny really...its like saying "HEY I HAVE THE WINNING NUMBERS TO THE LOTTERY HERE AND NOBODY WANTING TO TAKE THEM...NOBODY WANTS TO KNOW IF THEY ARE OR ARE NOT AND ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS TAKE THEM AND SEE!while i,m on a rant ( HAHA RANT)....seems the worst time to message is friday and saturdays....and the best time is sunday....hmm me thinks thats when you,ve been on your dates you have arranged all week and then realised there not who they said they were..look nothing like their photo or worse still did,nt bother turning up....realise it must be just as difficult for you women as us blokes on here!!well just a little bit wiser as to why people are on here for as long as they are....went on a date the other day and we got chatting about this site....the woman says she gets maybe ***messages a day and she just scrolls through them and finds a photo she likes but *** the rest! ( oh and before you say...then why did she pick you lol thats because i lived in the same village!)now come on we are all going to pick the best photo..but thats not nesaccarily the most suitable match!...now this women was,ent attractive and yet she still wants the best on here...reaon why she and a lot of others and maybe even myself are still on here!!?read on a profile on here as to the reason why she was still single....her answer...come and meet me and find out for yourself...good answer i thought!so many female profiles complaining about the male profiles??please be realistic!...just because your on a dating site and you proberly get lots of messages...dos,ent make you more attractive, nobody on here will suddenly find them selves dating someone 3 leagues above the people they have dated in the past!...its not some kind of miracle site....anyway if looks are everything then what do we all do as we get older? sure something amicable can be arranged but a short and sweet meeting is usually the best first time option.
