Well if you're reading my profile then I guess I have passed the first test. PHEW...So this is the space where you can learn a little about me and what I'm looking for. I'm not much of a writer so please bear with me. I'll start off by saying if your profile doesn't have a picture I will probally not respond to your message. I have put myself out there with posting pictures so I expect the same.I think when it comes to relationships honesty is the best policy. I will be honest and up front that I am looking for a serious relationship with someone. Don't get me wrong I'm not looking to jump into anything quick and get married or anything but I am looking for someone who is looking to have a serious relationship as well. I know what I want and what I'm looking for so I'm not into playing head games or having relationship drama. I love to laugh and have a good time and I hope to find someone who can do the same..I moved to the Mtl18 years ago to go to school and stayed. I am a very casual laid back kind of girl, you will normally find me in T-shirt and jeans. I have been with the same firm for the last 14 years and I work hard. I am looking for a guy who has his life "somewhat" together, I'm not demanding but from past experience I would prefer someone who is employed and currently working.I like to go out on the weekend and meet friends or family for a few drinks in a pub. I'm not into clubbing anymore, not sure if I'm just done with that scene or if I'm just too old for it. I like movies whether it's going to the cinema, or just curling up with someone on the couch to watch a movie at home.I like to eat out maybe because I hate cooking for one. I do enjoy cooking WITH someone, its' always a lot more fun when your 2.I also love to travel whether it's a planned vacation or just a last minute road trip. I like to visit new places and I don't mind just relaxing on the beach somewhere down south either. I don't like camping, sleeping in a tent is just not my thing. So if we are trying to get up close with nature I would prefer the nature that has a hotel /motel within driving distance LOL.A sucessful relationship I believe is based on honesty and respect, it takes two to make a relationship work. It's easy to be in a relationship for a few months, it takes a lot more to make it last. If you think that we would have some things in common then drop me a message and we'll take it from there. Hi!I've read several articles on how to write a good profile on dating sites and they all seem to contradict one another, so I'm going to wing it here. If I miss anything, feel free to ask. Lets start with some of the basics... I'm somewhat recently divorced ***. I met my ex at a bar in '99 so its been a while since I've been out there looking! LOL I currently work from home, hoping to be able to continue to do so until fall of ***when my youngest will be in all day school. That being said, I'm a mom. I've got 2 young kids who primarily live with me. And last fall we adopted a small dog. I generally adore my dog, but there have been many occasions where I wonder what I was thinking when I got him! LOL Oh & I'm close to my family.; a brother... I'm just not as close to the oldest two. =)I marked my profile as having a "crafty" personality. I enjoy making things with my hands. I'm all over the place with what I make.; painted planters with my kids. I also enjoy listening to music. It's a toss up. I haven't been to a concert in ages, but use to really enjoy going. I love to read fiction. I'm almost always reading something. In the evenings I prefer reading or screwing around on the computer to watching tv. I do however love to go to the movies. Comedies, dramas, quirky, scary, chick flicks, (some) action... I like a little bit of everything. Hmmm, I enjoy being outside. I like going for casual bike rides, taking walks, just hanging out in the fresh air. Hanging out at a BBQ with good people is always a good time. I like going out to dinner or out for an occasional drink. In all honesty, I'm probably just as happy staying in with friends & having a beer as I am going out to a bar. I'm on here hoping to find a relationship. I'd love to find a guy that I click with & hope that it grows into something more. I hope that someday, I'll fall in love again, remarry & grow old together. Well, that's a glimpse of me.
