I'm not usually the type who likes to talk about myself but I'll take a stab at it. I'm a So Cal native but have lived in other parts of the state and the country. I'd say the one thing that keeps me here is the weather and the variety of outdoor activities available. I enjoy hiking, skiing, the beach - really anything outdoors. I'm not a foodie but, like most people, I like to eat. And I'll try eating just about anything at least once. I'm a big fan of steak houses, sushi places, any kind of ethnic dive restaurant - really any kind of dive restaurant. The best food is usually in places where you don't have to get dressed up. I like to cook sometimes too but will admit it doesn't always work out well. The music on my iPod spans from Classical and Jazz to Alternative and Indie - I pretty much like everything although not a big fan of Rap. The bottom line is I'm a really well rounded, open minded, honest,educated, good guy. I like to be spontaneous. Skydiving would be cool. Hopefully it wouldn't be followed by a trip to the ER but that could actually be an interesting way to get to know someone.

GREAT LOVE REQUIRES GREAT RISKIs romance dead?!?! I would like to think that it is not.Tried this site before....but, let's give it another shot.Looking for "the one". Don't know if he is on here or even exists, but you never know.Love music, movies and cooking....I guess you could say I am a foodie (or becoming one....lol).Love sports (baseball, football, volleyball)....just like playing them...not much into watching them on TV...;off the grid".....but, anything can happen. I am 44, but I am told every day that people think I am in my mid-to-late twenties. I have had a couple of people tell me that they thought I was in my early 30's. So, I look a lot younger than my age (and often act that way too lol). I am masculine-acting if that is important to you and I'm not really into the whole gay scene and never have been. I work for a non-profit, humanitarian organization that works with orphaned and abandoned street children internationally. I have been overseas 11 times now since starting to work for the organization. I also have two adopted boys. My youngest is 12 and my oldest is 18 already and out on his own. I try to live in a way that I am not so self-centered/focused by trying to think of other's and put their needs before my own. However, being the "nice" guy can often get my heart destroyed and I can get used at times. I would like to find someone to start a friendship with first and then date and see where it goes from there. Ultimately, I am looking for the "ONE"...but, thus far, he has eluded me!!
