I believe a true relationship is when your partner stands beside you and you work as a team, stands in front of you to shield you, and stands behind you to support you at the appropriate times. I absolutely hate drama and have been known to exclude people from my life that thrives on it. You must be willing to accept me for who I am. I'm attacted to men who are assertive, know what they want, and know how to express their feelings. They need to be honest, loyal, and make me laugh;; comical but yet knows how/when to be serious; romantic and will plan dates from time to time; open in expressing his feelings and knows how to express them in a positive way; Definitely needs to be a cuddler (love to snuggle on the couch watching movies or listening to music). I have a strong faith in God and use christian values to guide my life. I am by no means holier than thou and am definitely a work in progress. I will always be on a road of self improvement. My number one priority are my kids. The people that I choose to have in my life need to be strong enough to understand that and accept them. :) I have a very amicable friendship with my ex and his wife and we all are committed to keeping it that way. A first date would consist of fun and laughter. A comedy club, putt putt golf, a walk in the park. I'm flexible.

Oh.. the fun part.. :) My job sums up a lot about me. I work with children.. So, I have an excuse to not always act my age.. and yeah, they keep me going, make me laugh and forget the worries of the day. I am content with life. I don't do the "bar" thing,..and if you're sending an ***, a few sentences work wonders. OK, a car? yeah, that's important.. a license, even better.. but when you can't pick up your date legally, find someone that gets a thrill from that... I don't.. ~~ It's pretty bad when these things have be address at my "age"-- we are how old ? what am I looking for in a man... seems to be an important one, often falling upon deaf ears/eyes... OK.. a smile, see the color of your eyes, your voice is a comfort.. height.. taller than myself, please! someone that still enjoys being affectionate.. yeah, I said it.. these are the small yet simple qualities I look for.. a place where we would be comfortable to get to know one another..
