I am always working to develop professionally while keeping a balance between being a mother, a friend and time for myself. I have a love/hate relationship yard work, which has meant learning how to string the weed wacker and other yard tool related things. I didn't say I was good at it, I just like to tackle it. I have friends in high places as well as in low places. I have a great family and truly, great kids. My kids will always have first dibs on me and my time, though I do make appropriate space for friends, dating and alone time.I tend to get a lot of messages from young men. Please don't message me if you want kids or are in your 20's. I'm 36 and have all the fine lines to prove it. I even have sun damage (dammit). My oldest has rotated around the sun 16 times and my youngest 8 times. I'm really looking for like-minded, realistic, real-life type of people. You don't have to be educated, but be intellectual. If you wear your hat sideways, ever, please don't message me, there are other ways to prove your "youthfulness" : ) Now, hat on backwards, that's a different story...that I can take and even welcome. I like feeling dirty and part of the earth as well as taking advantage of vacuumes, laundry detergent, and soap. I like a clean home. I am passionate about life. I feel as you grow older age gives one a different perspective on things. Your outlook changes from "What can I get?" to "What can I give?" It changes from "Who will remember me?" to "What will I be remembered for?" It is less about "What will I be doing next?" and more about "What am I doing now?" I have learned that the more you try to control life, the less in control you truly are. Life just happens. Sure, you can help guide it, to help it flow in the direction you want.
