I think one of the most important things in a relationship is being at the same point in life as the other person and wanting similar things for the future. I am exactly where I want to be in life with regards to career and overall stability. I have an awesome family and great friends, so the only thing left is to find someone with whom to share my life. With that being said, I figured I would write a good bit here so that you have a really good idea of who I am and what I’m looking for in someone else. Hopefully that will save both of us some time in the end :)I want to find someone who is as independent and driven as I am. Someone who has her own thoughts and opinions and is not afraid to express them. I work hard and am highly motivated to be successful in my career and am looking for the same in a girlfriend. Playing hard is important too. What's the point of working hard if you can't have fun as well, right? I think any solid relationship involves spending a lot of quality time with one another, while also allowing for independence (e.g. Girls or guys night out, having a hobby you do with a friend, etc.) I'm basically looking for someone who knows who she is and has direction in life. I look forward to everyday when I wake and hopefully you do as well.While I used to go out and party quite a bit in college and in graduate school, I am past the phase in my life where I want to get hammered every weekend or want to go to clubs with blaring music and people grinding and sweating on each other. Definitely not my thing. Don’t get me wrong, I like going out but prefer smaller bars or dive bars, watching a great live band, hitting up a comedy club, or finding a new favorite restaurant in the city. I also really enjoy trying new craft beers and new wines. Finally, I really want to start traveling more. I’m hoping to meet someone who not only wants to travel to different places within the U.S., but is also interested in traveling abroad. I think we all have some dorky, nerdy qualities, so I'm unashamed to say that I'm also a big fan of the History channel :) I enjoy learning about other cultures and belief systems, so am usually drawn to shows or books that discuss these topics.There are a couple things that I think are extremely important to most people, so I figured I would mention them:Religion – I am NOT religious. I enjoy learning about different religions and belief systems since they often dictate the motives and behaviors people, but I have no interest in dedicating my life to any particular dogma or faith. In my opinion, no one set of beliefs has the true or complete story.Kids –I have given this considerable thought over the last couple of years. There are times when I am hanging out with my little niece and nephews and think to myself, “I can see myself having kids someday.” However, most of the time I think I’d be perfectly content not having kids. The final decision in this area will be solidified one way or the other when I find someone I want to spend my life with and we begin talking about our future together. I’ll be honest, I am not looking for a woman who currently has a child or children. I am sure your kid/s are your world and they bring you tremendous amounts of joy, it’s just not something I’m looking for right at this moment.I should also divulge that I am a die hard STEELERS fan. So yeah, a die hard Steelers fan in Bengal country. Completely blasphemous, but I’m cool with it :)Well, that’s all I have for now. If you want to know anything else, just ask. Family is very important to me( I'm sure everyone says this) I always have a way of making things fun. I enjoy boating,snowboarding,jet skiing , cookouts, working out at the gym.
