Hi! and thanks for stopping by... I am here hoping to find my best friend, my lover, my confidant and my life companion. I understand that sometimes two people that have similar interests just may not click when they meet. That's OK, that is life! We are all adults here. I am not into weeks of texting or messaging and talking on the phone, if we share the same interests lets meet somewhere, face-to-face, and see what happens! The worst that can happen is there is no "spark"...no harm, no foul, and not a lot of wasted time...If you find someone else or decide we are not a good match, tell me! I have feelings, and it hurts when people just suddenly stop texting/calling/whatever...and you don't have to lie to me!I can weep at a chick flick or cuss out a ref that makes a bad call while watching my fave football team...I am one heck of a cook but enjoy having help in the kitchen too. i am honest, straightforward, rather old-fashioned in many ways, and was raised with an appreciation of the finer things in life, and the value of hard work. I worked hard for 25 years and am paying for it now. lol...everything works, i am just a little slower than I was at 20! I am by no means perfect and am not looking for perfection, just a real man who is perfect to me!I am looking for a man that wants to meet his best friend/lover/confidant and life companion. You must be honest, straightforward, and know how to and be willing to communicate! If you work 60 or more hours a week and want to spend your spare time with your kids, why are you here? just sayin... Being able to dress up for a night at the symphony is a plus...as is knowing how to cook both on charcoal and gas grills! I live with my Dad, and am quite content to continue to do so. I will answer every message that is sent to me, even if it is just to say "sorry, not interested"!. I would NEVER be rude to someone and *** message! I am NOT looking for fwbs or one-nighters. Sorry, I am just not into big-bodied men! I like all music, from Mozart to Metallica, and everything in between except rap and hip-hop. i still love life and get enthused about the good things!Going to the symphony, the theater, out to see a good blues band, a ball game, or the tractor pulls at the fair are some things I enjoy.Walking in the park or on the beach, sitting on the back porch watching the sun rise (or set) are also good times. Road trips are fun too, both planned and spontaneous! I have a great sense of humor and can laugh at myself when I have a blonde moment. I am well-read and never intend to stop learning. I have patience for just about everything except willful stupidity and deception! I am not into the bar or club scene, I just don't drink much, but will go see a good band. I love animals, and have owned many different kinds over the years. I have a valid passport, and would love to see more of the world someday. I enjoy the slower pace of country life and the culture available in cities.I prefer small gatherings to large parties, don't need to have money spent on me to have a good time, appreciate the gift of a compliment when warranted more than a thousand birthday gifts on that one day of the year. I am very affectionate, and passionate and want someone that is the same. I will be your cheerleader 110%, I am not into drama, and will NOT fight with anyone!     Hi There. I really dislike this part as I am not big on talking about myself. I am a good woman, interested in meeting new people having fun and just seeing where things might go . - I smoke- I enjoy meeting new people- doing new things. I have decided that if you are NOT looking for that one significant other, you are more likely to find them. Therefore I am NOT on that fishing trip of a life time if you know what I mean. I do not like people that override the conversation--conversation is at least a 2 sided thing....I work for a medical insurance company processing medical claims. Blessed in these times, to have good employment. I am not one to laze around. I enjoy living life. I love to camp in the fall and the spring, and the summer is good too but not without power. :0)I have 3 boys. All over the age of 18. Only one is still at home -- but he does his own thing for the most part. I am interested in getting married again but want to take it slow. I want to meet my knight in shining armor. Doesn't mean he has to be perfect, just perfect for me. I enjoy beer and wings on Sundays. During Football or NASCAR, and of course you must be willing to teach the art of football. I watch it, but I don't get it. lol . Live music, fun, laughing, playing, Busch Gardens, party's-- not saying that I cant be serious, but I am not serious all the time. Life if too short. Saturday nights out or by the bonfire- grilling with friends or just us. I am interested in exploring the different wines -- love food and really don't care if the wine is a right mix for the food. If I like it, then its a right mix. Style? I have my own style.-- just not normal...not Vogue or Cosmo so to speak.. If I like it and I am comfortable in it, then its in style. I am not a big shopper, but obviously will shop-- I believe that two people that are dating should really want to spend as much time together as possible. When I am in love and when I feel the love in return, I will give ***% of myself to that special one. I like winks from across the room, hand holding, touching and general affection with each other. I love my friends and my family so this person really needs to enjoy friend and family time. hopefully together.I am writing this off the cuff. Just typing as I think it.     Im a very outgoing person some would say Im loud and a bit hyper. Others have told me Im to deep I guess I am a very emotional person and the little things mean alot to me, I have feelings and I like to show them and feel them and if I want to speak them I do that to, I dont think that is wrong, I think if you feel something no matter what it is you should tell that person, you never know when it will be to late, so why not say it.Another told me I was reserved still trying to figure that one out. I know in my heart the man Im looking for is out there and I know in my heart he is close by and my heart tells me my eyes have already seen him in my vision of dreams, now Im waiting for the day God leads me to meet him face to face so we can make all our God given visions a reality. I know in my heart God is working hard putting all the final details in place, he needs to complete the picture, and present to us something only we know HE can create, which is TRUE LOVE and a life of happiness. GOD IS AWESOME. I HOPE YOU WILL ALLOW HIM INTO YOUR HEART. I PROMISE IT WONT BE A MISTAKE. Also guys something that I feel is also important to us ladies, we know you do have a heart so don't try to be so hard all the time, its not wrong to let us know you appreciate the things we do for you, lets us know in someway you are satisfied, you cant have it all your way there has to be some compromise, and if you hurt our feelings and we tell you so, put your pride aside and find these words to say, "Im Sorry". It doesnt make you weak to say those words, I think the ladies would agree with me. You MUST love animals even ones in the house. My dog is my companion, she depends on me, I took on the reponsibility and no way will I put her feelings aside or ***, if I go she goes. She is crate trained and while at work she is in it, and most nights, sometimes she sleeps beside me. ***update I like someone that knows how to think in a positive way. Get rid of all those negative thoughts. Have some faith in someone and trust someone, dont give up before it ever starts, friendship takes time, there is alot to learn of each other you cant just jump right in after you have had a phone conversation and say hey lets make a committment to one another even thought we havent met, come on what is up with that junk. Lets make plans to meet and share some smiles and laughter with one another several times and then figure out if we want to try a relationship. The exiciting part is learning about each other so lets share some excitment together. When our eyes meet for the first time we will know if we click or not. There is alot of fun stuff two people can do to have fun, and I dont mean jumping in the sack either. Enjoy life and take it one day at a time. If God wants us to be together I promise he will make sure it happens. We need to "Be Still" and wait for our time. Meet in public, maybe a coffee shop, to sit a bit and talk and then maybe go bowling or play putt putt, some form of activity so we are just not sitting, hard to see a person true self when you just sit and try to find something to chat about, that is very hard the first time meeting, I think there needs to be an activity to have some fun, let your true self shine.
