It really seems fairly simple to me. I wish I could find a kind man who doesn't pretend to be something he is not. Someone who understands that a relationship is about giving as well as taking - life isn't black and white. And I’m looking for a man who really understands what respect means. It's very important I find a man who understands how to accept that sometimes he might be wrong. We are all imperfect human beings; we don't always do or say the right things. But it's OK. I'm financially secure (NO not wealthy) and am looking for the same in a partner. I enjoy working together with my partner in the yard, the pool or whatever projects need to be done. In the winter I enjoy a good book or movie while snuggled up to a warm fire. I enjoy cooking, but it's no fun to cook for one. I LOVE the Packers and football overall. I have two children who are the best part of me and both are productive members of society! AMEN! I can't wait to be a grandma someday. I'm pretty much a tell it like it is kind of person. I try to stay fit and active, nope, I’m not a twig, but I have lots of love to offer! I enjoy the world around us - and I live very close to Devil's Lake - a beautiful place to hike. I love to sing, and will occasionally do Karaoke. But I enjoy my church choir and singing for weddings or whenever anyone asks. Most important - I LOVE TO LAUGH! It does a body good! At 53 I am realistic about the work required to make a relationship work. But it’s important to me that we both are willing to put in the effort. If we do, the rest should come easy. At our age, we've all seen a whole lot of life already. Some I'm sure we'd like to forget! But there is a lot of life yet to live. I'd love to do it with a good man. I have loved well but not too wisely. I’m tired of giving my heart to people who are not willing to honor that gift. I really enjoy travelling and being spontaneous. Interested in finding someone, who like all of us, wants that spark, sense of adventure, mutual interests, and down right fun! I, like most of you, am 50 ish feeling 30! .. young at heart. I love riding my road bike, hiking and cross country skiing. Dont down hill much... i prefer the glass of wine by the fire after!! Movies at home or theater, Ill help cook, watch football but beware I am a cheesehead!!. Music--good ole rock.. but not huge on country unless I am dancing. Spend time with my kids-who are still at home, and got those crazy girlfriends which keep me sane.. or at least balanced. Fitness is important to me.. so I hit the gym and make a personal trainer help me defy gravity. Love a sense of humor.. laughing at myself and life gets me by.
