I am a laid back, happy, content person. I'm looking for someone who loves the idea, as I do, of sitting around a campfire and smelling the fragrance of trees and water in the air. I enjoy walking with my two lab mix dogs and would love a companion to walk with me. Many of us have been through lifes trials, but how they are responded to says alot about who we are and where we are at in life. I'd like to be friends first and see where it goes from there. If we can't be good friends then the other won't have a chance to bloom. I'm not interested in having contact with anyone outside of the United States. I've had my children, raised them and enjoy being in this stage of my life. I love children, but i'm looking to be with someone who has children older than pre-teen, with the exception of those wonderful grandchildren, of course. If the situation were right, it wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I do enjoy having my children grown and the independence that provides. Hello, I' m looking for that special someone who is open to meeting a cancer survivor with an apparent scarring from surgery. This is a lot to ask of someone anyone so I am being forward about it so there are no surprises or bs. Having survived cancer has given me a different outlook on life that's for sure. I like meeting new people who are not judgemental. I have hobbies such as camping and fishing going to movies and of course shopping lol. As for goals I think I made the biggest one and I'm above dirt so what more could I ask for....... My idea of a first date would be to meet somewhere for coffee or maybe a drink spend a bit of time together to see if there is an attraction, I don 't want to waste anyone's time that's for sure. If we find we would like to see each other again then we could make plans for a second meeting if we're both interested.
