Hmmm...describe me... It's probably best if I state what my friends say about me which is sometimes very different from how I would describe myself. So, they say that I'm funny, honest, passionate, smart, fearful, a bit walled off at times, very creative, hard-working, a nerd, intuitive, extremely strong, very helpful, attractive, athletic, analytical, ...Yikes! That's plenty. I obviously have some REALLY GREAT friends. Oh, and I asked my mom to describe me, and she said, ..."well, you're just perfect"... That's probably where I get my sense of humor, and definitely my capacity to love on such a deep level. I moved to CA with the man that I am now divorcing (we separated over three years ago). Divorce-- The marriage was supposed to be 'until death do us part.' I couldn't exactly kill him--that would be immoral. But I refuse to share MY man with other women, so it had to end. I guess I'm selfish that way.I must say, I strongly value honesty. Although I CAN read minds, it's just easier if I don't have to waste my superpowers on someone whose intent is to deceive me. I guess maybe I should be honest then. I don't really have superpowers; hence, no mindreading skills. I do have a bit of women's intuition though, and I pray for clarity on a regular basis. The truth comes out eventually, why not just start with it?I'm told that I'm easy to talk to and actually quite down to earth. I'm somewhat of a homebody, but after 15 years of marriage, I'm finding that I love to get out and socialize on a regular basis. I have a fondness for the dancefloor. I like R&B, rock, and old school music to dance to, but when I'm just listening, I'm country all the way. My favorite hobby is to crochet, but I also love home improvement. There's nothing sexier than a man that can build and fix things. And I definitely want to be right in there helping to get things done.This seems so 'all about me' and one-sided. I think I'd rather have a two way discovery process. Fabulous chemistry is mandatory for that deep connection that I'm looking for. I know there's a man out there that is my everything. I'm ready to find you. I'm a bit old fashioned, so I'll let you decide that one.

I am an intelligent, warm and honest woman looking for the same in a man. I want to be able to talk to that special someone in my life about anything - be it politics, religion, (gasp!) sex...even if we disagree. I want to be told the truth, and think I can handle the truth...unless of course you tell me that the pants I'm wearing make my butt look big! I like to learn new things, and I like to learn about new people. I think my friends would also tell you that I'm a good listener. What was that? I feel that (appropriate) humor can break down a lot of barriers.I enjoy going to the movies. I mean, who can resist that popcorn? I enjoy romantic comedies, action/adventure flicks, mysteries, classics...about the only movies I dislike are horror movies and movies about the occult. Other than that...bring it on! I also enjoy going to concerts, musicals, and plays. It sure would be nice to find someone who would want to go along.I love to dance, but don't get the chance much anymore. As for my taste in music, I am very flexible. About the only thing I don't enjoy listening to is acid rock and rap. Other than that, I'm willing to try your music on for size, if you'll listen to mine! I want to meet a man who loves the Lord. I am active in my local parish. I sing in the choir and I play multiple musical *** my church is important to me.I have spent the last year getting myself healthy. I now work out ***times a week (but guys...come on! I could use some help with my upper body strength!) LOL! I like to think that I've learned how to eat healthy stuff, but it's a work in progress...just like me! I love to learn new things, so even if we have some different hobbies or interests, I'd like to hear more about yours. I enjoy walking my dog and engaging with the other dogs and owners in/around the neighborhood. My little one is 13, and we've been through a lot together! Now that you've read this far, let me say for the record that I am confused about the rules these days! Is it ok for me to make "first contact?" Some men say yes and others say no. I know you all don't fit into the same mold, and that makes things even more confusing! But we could have some fun unraveling all the mysteries, couldn't we? I enjoy romance, but you don't have to go overboard! I would enjoy getting to know you better over a nice dinner, and maybe some dancing afterwards - or a long walk or even a cup of coffee could work for me. You wouldn't need to be afraid to open doors for me or pull out my chair. I appreciate these gestures. Flowers on a first date would be a very welcome surprise.
