I grew up where you met someone through friends or shared activities - out in the real world. But today - it seems to happen "virtually"...not my preferred way...but what the heck I'm up for new things! Basically, I'm pretty easy going and handle my life (and what little baggage I have - because I have lived a bit lol) with grace and a free spirit. I'm open to new opportunities and work hard - sometimes I'm told I work too hard. I can keep confidences, conduct myself as appropriate to the situation and my family and friends are held very close to my heart. I'm not interested in "casual hook ups" or serial dating (I believe that's what it's called these days) but rather meeting someone nice on mutual terms and seeing what happens. As someone once told me "Let the art wash over you". I like that statement. Life is a tapestry we build with each experience and after raising my children (I have ***girl and a boy) I find myself now ready to see what else life has to offer!I posted a picture of myself without makeup - fresh up out of bed on a Saturday morning - because I don't believe in presenting only the "made up me" but the "real me" too. Now guys - that takes guts! (Haha) and should clue you in on a couple of things about my nature. What you see is what it is -- and I'm working towards the "best" me for this time in my life. A healthy active lifestyle is being built ... but like most things - it's a work in progress. I am happy with myself - my life - and have a sense of humor about most things. I love to camp and fish and be in or on the water. I enjoy live music (all kinds!), cooking out with friends, going out to dinner, traveling, riding on the back of a Harley, watching movies at home, and spending time with family. I'm usually laid back and casual but can dress and act the lady if I have to, lol. I love live music and going to concerts. I think I have almost every ticket stub; a big, fat, envelope full! I like music of all kinds. I would love to be able to do some real dancing. All I can do is shake it to some good ol' rock n roll, lol!If I watch TV it would be a sitcom, something on Discovery or the History channel, or a movie probably. I like sci-fi, comedy, action, drama, fantasy, westerns, and romance.Sometimes I like to cook, and sometimes it even comes out good! I'd rather do yard work than house work. I like to garden but haven't planted one the last few years. I exercise 4 or 5 times a week by either walking the trail or going to the gym. I prefer the trail as it goes through the woods along a bayou and I spot all kinds of wildlife!My youngest is a senior in high school and doesn't need mamma much anymore, so I find myself with more and more free time/me time!I'm a sincere, honest, and fun person. I know everyone needs their own space, and I'm just looking to date without getting too serious to start with, but I would really love to find my best friend and lover that I can share most aspects of the rest of my life with. Oh something simple to start with, maybe meet for coffee, a drink, or ice cream somewhere quiet where we could spend a long while talking and getting to know each other.

I'm a very laid back person. I work hard but like to play just as hard. Love spending time with my family & friends, watching a good movie, girls night out, horseback riding, traveling, and spare of the moment trips are the best, CARPE DIEM.
