I am 53 years old widow (almost 3 years). I have a teenage son and we are working through this big change in our life. I am proud of how far we have come and now feel that I am ready to look for another friendship/relationship. I will need to go slow, but with patience the right guy will get a great gal. I have a good head on my shoulders and a good heart that directs and defines me. I work hard and enjoy the challenges of my job. But the job is not my life (thank goodness) I love to camp, golf, spending time with my family and friends,.! I believe I am a loyal and true friend and have been blessed to have many great friendships. I have a sense of humor (sometimes goofy, sometimes risky, sometimes bad, sometimes good***I enjoy lots of different things, from NASCAR to art fairs to a evening at the hoe-down or even see a play at the theater. Probably my favorite is sitting around a campfire. I also love a day on the beach or just as happy sitting at home in the backyard . I am an diehard golfer -- I am pretty decent and can hold my own on the course ***but I can always play better!!! Still have not gotten that illustrious "hole-in-one". Thanks for reading - but please note - I am not looking for someone to rescue me, take care of me, or control me -- I am looking for someone to compliment AND enhance my life and I will compliment AND enhance theirs. I love the kids and give out lots of hugs and band aids every day...wonderful!-7a hospital shifts are a bonus!As happy as I am at this point in my life, I'm ready to be in a relationship. I have worked hard and look forward the next chapter and a little more fun. I'm interested in meeting a kindhearted gentleman, with similar interests, a quick wit...and a good kisser. Is this you?
