I am a military nurse and systems engineer, but really just a renaissance woman at heart who is just trying to making a living! I would like to meet someone who enjoys the ocean, mountains, music, exploring new cultures and the arts, but also takes time to appreciate the the simplier things in life.I have spent much of my life traveling with the military and have served in the Marine Corps, Air Force and now in the Army Nurse Corps. For those who have served or have lived the military life in one capacity or another understand the sacrifices that often come with it. Now fortunately, after all these years, things have started to simmer down and some stability is on my horizon. I'm at a place in my life, where I can now reap the benefits of the experiences it has given me, and for that I am very grateful. However, I am an adventurer at heart and find tremendous joy in travel and aiding others in less traveled areas of the world when the opportunity arises. There is an explorer that lives deep within me, and channeling my energy can sometimes be a challenge, even for me. No, it really not quite that bad, I'm just having a little fun... But do admit, if I were independently wealthy, I would spend much more time abroad helping others. But, I do feel I am better suited to spend my time with someone who shares my interests rather than with someone who wants to try to change me. I love music, playing the piano, gardening, spending time in nature, photography, collecting art to enjoying fine food and company.Well, more on this later...Clearly, this is a work in progress..Have a fine day...BTW - I really won't respond to winks..It's just not my style.. I am a woman that loves the outdoors. I like to dabble in crafts but never seems I have time to do these things. I love life and want to make the best of my life right now while working and saving for retirement in 10 years. I love my job, the people I work with. I am a positive person. I am a unique person in that I never give up when it is something I think is worthwhile and beneficial to myself, my partner or of course my sons. I love my life right now and have not had Joy in my heart about the simple things in life until about 2 years ago. I love to listen to live music. It can be blues, a rock band, a recital of a classical guitarist, or just listening to a marching band. Music fascinatates me and I don't play any *** all. Strange huh?? I love to dance and would love to take salsa dance lessons or even ballroom dance lessons. I would like to go meet and have dinner some place nice, not fancy but not too noisey so we can talk and get to know each other. Casual dress. Since we are both in this together, I can pay for my own and you can do the same. After we finish eating, it would be nice to sit and chat a bit and maybe have a glass of wine or drink of choice. When we decide that our evening is ending I think it would be best to go our seperate ways in case one of us just does not feel the chemistry is there between the two of us. I may or may not be a little shy. I go back and forth. I would definitely like to talk on the phone a few times before meeting in person.
