Hi, thanks for reading. Here's a little about me. By the way it feels a little weird describing myself to people I've never met and as a result I've noticed I might come across as quite serious but I do actually have a sense of humour!I enjoy a few regular hobbies and I'm open to new experiences. I like to keep active (and healthy when I can be motivated). I'm the laid back type, dryish sense of humour. Family and friends are important to me, I'm not a particularly outgoing person.I happily live on my own and I'm used to having to do things for myself. I'm not looking for miss perfect to swoop in and do everything for me (although I wouldn't say no :). I'm down to earth and want to meet someone similar and see where it takes us.I like going out in town to anywhere I can hear the conversation, and got a little bored of nightclubs. A few years ago I wouldn't have gone on a dating site as it takes the romance out of it but I don't tend to meet new people.What I like in a person: Honesty and can be trusted, the most important traits someone could have. Also ideally someone caring, independant and intelligent, who enjoys life, is relaxed, and has a good sense of humour. If this is you message me! I'd like to think I have the same to offer but you decide. I don't have baggage and I'm not the jealous type, i.e. you can have your male friends, I'll have my female friends, lets just get on with it. Also I don't want drama or shouting matches, prefer the quiet life. I'm a believer in 'if it's not working, move on' rather than string things along. I'd like to just be on the same wavelength and have a mutual respect and enjoy the company.I don't think it's important to have the same tastes in music and TV particularly as boys and girls are into different things, although it seems important to a lot of people on here so I'll give it a mention. I don't listen to the radio so not informed of what's in the charts but happy to be educated.Treats/Little things I like: Trips away, trying different food in restaurants, sneezing loudly, mixed grills, lie ins, quoting The Simpsons, fry up for breakfast, Guinness, the smell of petrol, doing something the other person wants to do, silliness, jogging in cool weather, cuddles, feeling smug after having my five a day, sausage and bacon butties with brown sauce, free iphone games, going down a road just to see what's there, and coffee.Things that I don't like: chavs with low slung trousers, walnuts on cake, moths, sunburn, the property market, chavs wearing trousers correctly, people shouting/spitting in public and general antisocial behaviour, charity muggers, spiders, dating sites, being kicked in the balls, political correctness, cruel pranks on kids, incorrect English, rap, other people being *** than me at something I've done for years, and house chores.Oh and if we meet and it's not working out I'd prefer just to leave things on a plus. I went on a date with a lovely girl and she just stopped replying which seems the normal thing to do but I found it a little hurtful as she'd pressed my buttons a little! So please be kind and text and I promise I'll just leave you alone! Not knowing and getting hopes up isn't fair and it doesn't hurt to text but it might hurt not to (should I work in advertising with lines like that?). Anyway never mind, that's life, plenty of fish...Looking for a chilled night out over a couple of drinks with someone new. Get to know each other over a drink or two. Or maybe we could go skydiving :)

Hi there,First impression so far for this site is 'dawn of the chavs'....I'm from South Africa, been here for 7 years now (yes I still have my accent), originally just planned for a 6 month stay before heading back to the States where I was working as a lifeguard, its been a bloody long 6 months!!I would say I am a easy going guy that has ambition in life and will work hard to achieve what I want. However I also consider the small things in life to be important, like nights out with friends and family or that mini adventure on a spur of the moment conversation with a friend!Not much on the revealing side I know but that's all part of the 'asking questions' part I recon....so ask away!xx
