Well my friends tell me I am boring, ugly and thrifty and that i have no chance of finding the traditional woman who enjoys ironing, cooking, houswork and watching me fall asleep in front of the telly after 6 cans of lager. well of course that's all rubbish because I don't drink lager. Well, truthfully because I used to attend County Court hearings before District Judges, I never got to meet anyone..and surprise surprise, the Defendant did not have this urge to date me afterwards. The women that is. I am now back at college, training to be a counsellor. Problems on a postcard please. After 25 years in a relationship, it feels strange being on your own, a sense of being abandonment. You question the validity of love, how could it simply just die? Well I haven't given up and still believe I have the capabilities to still make someone happy. :) I am on this site to find someone I can have a laugh with and feel relaxed with. You will hopefully find me good company, funny (unless you don't think I am)..and a good listener. I love music but find it difficult to dance to slow ones. I do not kiss on first dates and feel a firm handshake will suffice..but don't squeeze me too tight please...Good Luck all.x Meet in a cosy pub..and slowly (as I knock my drink over you) get to know eachother...and then you can climb out of the toilet window... (so that's where they went!)

Hi there.I'm a single guy, quite chilled, happy with my life and at a stage where I'm ready to date again and see what happens. Usually do this with my family and friends but now looking to take this to a higher level by including a happy lady in my activities - someone who can share her interests with me and giggle over the daft stuff while snuggled up on the sofa.I enjoy a game of pool with the boys, reading, family occasions, going out, most music, cooking and much more - too much to say here - you'll have to ask and maybe I'll tell. Writing is a passion of mine, so I've combined my work with a return to university which leaves me time to date again. I sometimes I wonder if I’ll meet a lady that would become my soulmate and lover - may even make a good story. So, if you would like to be the heroine in my novel then get in touch and we can chat about it over a drink. All the best for now, Ken. A relaxing coffee shop or quiet pub seems a good way to start - then see what happens.
